I have had a severely asthmatic child under the care of Dr Alvarez for 6 years. I could not even get her hives under control after taking her to several doctors. Dr A and his amazing staff have kept asthma at bay and my kiddo finally is able to live a normal life. She recently had a flair up and after two trips to the urgent care, I called Dr A, and he managed to get her under control where several doctors weren't. I am so thankful for the care that Dr A gives to our entire family! Thank you! Highly recommend!

I love my doctor here. There are a few doctors here and a shot room with 2 waiting areas. Allergy shots are given every week day with extended hours on Thursday.

The initial doctor's visit and allergy test went smoothly. It took about 2.5 hours so make sure to block off enough time. However, they recently had a data breach and weren’t open for a couple of days, so I’m concerned that my personal information has been compromised. Also they never pick up when you call.

When I finally went to get my shot, they didn’t have the proper vials for 2/5 people before me. When it was finally my turn they had the wrong profile picture in my file. They asked if I scheduled my first shot but when I tried, I got an automated message saying the system was down and to leave a message. My previous appointment was canceled because of the snow storm and the lady said to call before I came in since I didn’t know my schedule in advance. I decided to try my luck right when they opened and they had me wait 45 minutes to realize my vials were shipped to Garland. I’ve never been to the Garland location; I had my allergy test here; my first shot was scheduled here. Fortunately one of the nurses called me back to schedule my first shot after making arrangements to have my serum picked up from Garland.

Also the room where the shots are administered doesn’t have good sound proofing. I could hear every word between the nurses and previous patients.

A gentleman came in for is appointment and asked for a mask because he did not have one on him. Two ladies started to yell at him telling him to get out showing him the door, and as he insisted on asking for a disposable mask, he was told that they do not give masks to patients. They screamed at him and kicked him out asking him to not return again! He never raised his voice or argued back.

I cancelled my appointment and left immediately. Not coming back again!

Dr Nguyen and Mimi are fantastic.

Unfortunately the front staff is usually grumpy and good luck ever getting someone to pick up the phone or call you back just to schedule an appointment. They’ve been consistently terrible at answering the phone for the 3 years I’ve been here.

The doctor and the nurse I went with first time was good. But once you have to be going once a week to get the shots is not a good experience at all. Not recommend.

I stopped going there because they were unprofessional and disrespectful. A month later found out they were still billing my insurance for weekly injections.

My doctor recently merged with this office. You enter the office and you see chaos. The staff is not welcoming, no smiles and not eager to help you. No early or after 5 pm shot hours and the blonde RN is rude and dismissive like she doesn't have time for you. It's not worth your time or money.
