Almouie Pediatrics Slaughter Lane reviews
15The Dr was absolutely wonderful. Answered all of our questions. The time in and out was not bad. Front desk was friendly. 5 stars ️
My first experience here was not great but not horrible, the front office staff was very friendly and it was clean so definitely a plus, my first visit was with Dr. ArambuloRabin and i had a bad experience. She was coming off extremely judgmental making faces when i informed her i do not vaccinate my children and also made comments about my daughters weight (which she heard of course being in the room) and it made her constantly worry that she is too heavy for an 8 year old, she implied that i just put a bunch of food on the table and let my kids have
at it and dont feed them anything healthy and “junk” food, it was really rude and completely shut me off wanting to return here, however i decided to give it one more chance considering its close to my home and convenient to get too. On my second round here we had Dr. Melissa Chan and she was wonderful! She listened to my concerns and was really kind, she made me feel much more comfortable! I will be returning solely for the great experience i had with her i am happy to continue care with her. Thank you Dr Chan for being exactly what parents hope for in their pediatrician, kind and caring!
Walked in didn’t feel like the nurse partitioner was taking me seriously as I was fighting for the issue I came their for, not their making it up as they go diagnoses. She asked the same questions and I was giving the same answers, really frustrating and what I walked in there for and what she was repeating had nothing to do what I came in to get help for my baby girl. She saw the notes and was insistent on the same questions and clueless to what could possibly be the problem! Why would I come back a second time knowing the first time was the same issue I came back for? Why not do a culture swab or check for infection but apparently they have to run it off to the labs. You would think common sense would have kicked in but no.okay moms obviously coming back again form the previous notes and is concerned.how am I (the parent) asking a question you don’t know an answer to? That’s pretty sad, I said okay what’s the next step if the labs come back normal.she didn’t have a clue… and literally said she doesn’t know.makes me think what do you really know in this practice? I felt totally frustrated that I wasted my time driving to and from buda without answers again. The one thing I can’t stand is the inconsistency of doctors and nurse practitioners always switching so it’s always someone different explaining what you’ve already drove concerns toward another doctor.
Friendly staff and doctor. Highly recommended. My son is very comfortable with the assign doctor.
I loved how they were able to take all my kids in as walk ins. I felt so at eased with their kindness and especially patience they carried out with all 3 from my 12,9& 1yr. Old each child was checked accordingly, all questions answered and overall experience was amazing. It is so hard to find a doctor to be seen right away and that was a big plus for us because having to wait days makes it harder on everyone not knowing what illness they have.
It was my first time taking my daughter & son there. Checking in was easy, the ladies at the front desk were so nice & very helpful & the nurses were so gentle with my babies. I'm very glad I found this place.
I didn’t have a good experience with this place, first appointment for my son we had to wait there for about hour and a half because they were understaffed and they only had one doctor attending their patients. We liked the doctor, she was great but then they didn’t send the antibiotics to the pharmacy on that Friday so my son couldn’t start his treatment until Monday, doctor told me 7 days of antibiotics and pharmacy said 10 days, I called the office and the receptionist said the doctor is not here but he should finish the bottle “? ”. Today we had the second appointment to follow up with my son’s ear infection, I was thinking that my appointment was at 10: 30 and we got there just in time but they said my appointment was at 10: 15 and they had to reschedule. I can’t easily just leave my job at anytime to take my son to his appointments, so I asked them to see if we could wait for the doctor to see my son a little later, they asked the doctor and apparently she said no so we had to leave. I’m not rescheduling because for me it wasn’t fair, so I will look for a better place to take my son. That was my own experience with this place so I can’t recommend them.
Everyone here is so nice. They make sure you understand everything and answer all your questions with no hesitation. I'm so glad my kids come here!
Best pediatric in South Austin! Very friendly, comfortable, and clean! They really care about out little ones health.
The staff was super friendly and good with my kiddos. When we had to wait for a little while. Our NP Mary continued to check in on us and apologize for the wait. It made us feel like we weren’t forgotten about. It was an amazing experience.
I was very satisfied they we're very nice and helpful.and didn't take to be seem, They were very helpful.
I travel 30mins to come here because I love feeling NO PRESSURE on how I choose to parent my children every decision/choice I make for my children is completely OK with the pediatrician/np, no questions asked! Thank you Almouie Pediatrics!
They were so gracious to get us in very quickly, while I was waiting forever for Austin Regional Clinic response. I really appreciate their help on getting my daughter the right care.
Dr Melissa Chan was very patient also very kind she carried this great attitude throughout the whole appointment as a mom I really appreciate that thank you
Almouie Pediatrics is Simply Amazing!
I've been bringing my children here for 2, maybe even 3 years now. Everyone on the team, from the front desk staff to the professionals taking care of my children are splendid. Even when Dr. Murray left, the quality of their care never faltered - they handled the transition smoothly.
Sure, it takes me around 30 minutes to drive to them, but the peace of mind I get knowing my children's health is in capable hands is truly priceless. I'm confident in their diagnostic ability and have faith in their treatment recommendations.
Surprisingly, even when under the weather, my children look forward to coming here. Something about the friendly level of care, the staff, the doctors, really resonates with them. If you're on the hunt for the right pediatrician to look after the health of your little ones, do give Almouie Pediatrics a try - you won't regret it!
