Aloft Plano

The hotel and rooms are a little run down but clean. The hallways smell bad, the fitness room needs to be cleaned. In the room, the phone didn't work, the remote for the TV was a bit gross and the hot water was yellow and smelled bad. I was told they did work on a waterline but it would go away after a few minutes. Over thirty minutes with the water running yellow without change. I feel bad for the desk clerk who has to deal with these issue and can't really do anything. Whoever owns or manages the hotel should take responsibility and apologize to the guests.

Cannot get good sleep due to highway noise. I have apple watch measuring noise around 11pm and it's consistent staying around 40dB. WHO recommends <30dB for good sleep. Don't recommend to stay this hotel.

Would love to rate my stay, but they canceled my reservation. I booked 20 days in advance for a two-night stay in October. When I arrived at 11: 45pm (after a delayed flight), I was told at reception that they overbooked and did not have a room for me despite my reservation. I received zero notice about the cancelation in advance of my arrival for check-in. They offered to comp stay at another hotel in Richardson (11 miles away), but I needed to stay in Plano. I found a hotel with availability in Plano 2 miles away and asked Aloft to give me a ride over, but I was told they had no shuttle. So at midnight, I had to find a replacement hotel in Plano myself and a ride there. Since this fiasco, there has been no effort by Aloft management to reach out to me to try to make amends. I was looking forward to trying Aloft but will never do so now.

We enjoyed our short stay here. The room was clean and roomy, although not well maintained — bedside table falling down, towel rack falling down, heavily chipped paint on the walls. However, this was let down by an unexpected charge showing up our bill. According to their website, they allow one pet up to 40 lbs to stay for free. When I received my final bill, there was a $40 “extra pet” fee. I only have one dog so I’m not sure why they charged this or informed me of the charge upon checking out. Needless to say I will be calling to try to sort it out.

Had a great experience here — staff were super friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, with an unorthodox but thoughtful layout. Plus, best nightstand clock ever!

Nice staffs. Breakfast is boring. Got oven and washing facilities.plenty of parking and bus station is nearby.

This is one of the nicer Aloft's that I've been to. The cleanliness is what other hotels should set their standards at, the staff was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, and for the most part it had all the necessary amenities. I do wish the breakfast was included, but something unique to this location is they have a plinko giveaway at check-in for Bonvoy members where you can win everything from breakfast to bonus points. I was working in the lobby area and was approached by an employee (Marcin) who asked how my stay was going and if there was anything I needed - this is the first time someone preemptively checked in before there was an issue. Very impressed!

I stayed here for couple days. The hotel is very clean and the ambiance is good. The staffs are friendly. They don’t have lot of breakfast options which is a downside. When they charge you more for the rooms at least I would expect a good continental option to be available.

Hotel staff was super welcoming and accommodating. We had several needs during our stay at the Aloft, and the staff were accommodating and helpful. This hotel is located near many attractions. You are able to park your vehicle and use the shuttle bus to take you to and from close destinations. We also enjoyed great service from our lovely bartender who stirred up great conversation and also made us feel welcomed. If you are looking for a great place to stay and relax, while also having a great time, stay at the Aloft!

The room was clean service was great, there is nothing within walking distance to eat or experience. Located on a frontage road so getting to and getting from is a hassle.
Breakfast choices are slim.

Nice chic place. Rooms are clean and Have everything you would need. Free shuttle is super helpful. Bar and pool table and coffee machine!

Last weekend the Green Bay Packers picked our grandson, Keke Chism, to join their team. We picked the right place to celebrate. Marcin Gorski and his staff made the event very memorable by rolling out the red carpet. We appreciate the outstanding customer service and recommend this hotel for special events.

This place is nice and they have a 24/7 snack bar (I forgot to try). They have a shuttle. There's places at "The Shops Legacy" I will be back

Very nicely laid out and appointed room.
My only complaint, which is minor, is that the Retro Style alarm clock in the room did not work at all. Other than that it was a terrific stay. Also oh, I had some drinks down at the W XYZ bar in the lobby and that's a fun little bar with an excellent bartender, named Marcos.

I had an excellent experience at the Aloft in Plano. Every staff member that I interacted with - from check-in, bar, shuttle service, etc - was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout my stay. This was my first time staying at an Aloft; no doubt I'll be back!
