Alpha Montessori House, Frisco TX

All three of our children attended Alpha Montessori for the full preschool curriculum. One of my children started the elementary program as well.

Our children learned kindness and appreciation in the multi-cultural environment at Alpha Montessori. The multi-age classes mean that the older kids helps the younger ones. Later on, those younger children become the older children, and they know how to help because that was modeled for them!

For almost a decade I've watched Mrs. Rupali continuously improve all aspects of Alpha Montessori. First she overhauled the menu at the school to provide fresh, nutritious lunches for the children. She also implemented several special events during school and outside of school to involve the families in the Alpha community. We are still friends with some of the other families we met during our time there.

Our family watched (and celebrated) the construction of two Alpha Montessori school buildings specifically designed for the whole-child educational experience. This is not daycare. These trained Montessori teachers are setting the stage and the environment for a lifetime of learning!

The educational experiences my children had at Alpha included individual presentations on assigned topics. They were confidently speaking in public before Kindergarten!

As a result of their in-depth learning at Alpha, all of our children are in the PACE program through Plano ISD. For the last few years they have attended the Summer Institute for Gifted Students which has afforded them some unique opportunities. (My daughter dissected a shark one summer, and a rat the following summer and loved it.) The Montessori environment primed them for advanced learning.

Our oldest just completed middle school with her second President's Education Award. Her first was received in the 5th grade. She took honors-level classes in addition to participation in school sports and orchestra. Next year she will attend Plano Academy High- a STEAM program.

Our second daughter was invited to Math Rocks for next year when she starts middle school. She already knows that a career as a teacher is in her future.

I hope that more parents choose Alpha Montessori as an investment in their child's educational foundation.

My kid was charged in excess of 2000 USD and the school simply won't refund it. Please don't expect the school management to be fair or reasonable when it comes to money. Even though my kid is going to join the public school, they still won't refund the excess amount. The school director goes into a hiding when the parents want to address any concerns. I didn't find anything great here except the school building. I do not recommend this school for my friends and family.

We have been with Alpha Montessori School for over 8 years. We have three beautiful daughters. Two of our eldest daughters have graduated from Alpha Montessori School. We have our little one in a toddler class now. What we really love about this school is that the director gives one on one attention to all parents and their concerns. The owner is also really involved and she loves children. She knows each and every child in the building and makes sure she visits all the classrooms daily getting to know each child and their personalities. She personally calls parents and is on top of everything. Teachers are really nice and loving to the children. Our child comes home really happy and in mornings she can’t stop talking about going back to school. They have great curriculum planned for all ages and work with every child and their needs.
During this pandemic time we can’t imagine how stressful it is for the school. We are happy to say that our children are in safe hands and school is sanitized and cleaned all thru out the day and is following all requirements to keep our little ones safe.

My daughter has attended here for almost a year as a toddler. We love her teachers, and she has continued to grow and learn; the teachers and staff are very helpful and assist when we are going through growing pains. The owner has been communicative and supportive; they have stayed open through the covid 19 quarantine with clear safety and cleaning measures. She has been well taken care of with Alpha Montessori, and I highly recommend them.

The staff and teachers are amazing; they really care about my son. I love that a healthy lunch is included in the tuition- one less thing for me to worry about and prepare each day!

Wonderful school with awesome teachers and staff.my daughter loves to go school every day and learns so many things.libraries and class rooms are so good and clean. The school conducts good events like holiday musical, grand parents day, etc, which are so fun.

Great place you can find for your kids. I compared many other places, and I couldn't find better than this place. Highly recommended.

We’ve had such a great experience with Alpha Montessori. Our child has grown so much developmentally, learning not just things like phonics or months of the year, but also skills to help with independence and how to cooperate in play- and others notice! I always know my child is safe and well-taken care of at AMS by teachers she adores.

My son has been attending Alpha Montessori for approximately 5 months. His teacher has been great getting him acclimated early on from having a sitter to having to go to school with other children. I like the fact that he's on a schedule now and has a routine. Our primary focus was for him to grow intellectually and I've seen lots of progress here. The teachers always give me insightful feedback whenever I ask how he's doing. I think this is a great place to send your child.

Wonderful school with amazing teachers and other staff members! Kids learn a lot and enjoy at same time. A very healthy and positive environment for kids! Very friendly staff and school is well maintained and very ready to help out!

I have been sending kids to Alpha montessori for the last 6 years now starting with my elder son first and now with my younger son. The owner is actively involved in day to day operations and knows all the kids and parents by name. Both my sons absolutely loved their teachers. All their teachers were trained in Montessori teaching and handled the kids well. The support staff is very helpful. I would highly recommend Alpha Montessori.

Some of the teachers are really good however the establishment suffers overall from overstuffed classrooms, overwhelmed teachers and lack of adequate responsiveness from staff.
Teacher/ student ratio is like 1 teacher for 18-21 kids.

Wonderful school! My child loves learning thanks to Alpha Montessori. Not just a babysitter - strong academic focus while still fun for my toddler! My infant also just started and smiles so much when she is greeted by her teacher each morning!

What's good about Alpha Montessori @Hedgecoxe Rd?
1. Teachers are professional and committed. More importantly, kids love to go to school.

What is bad?
1. Unprofessional emails, notices behavior from the management. You get the feeling all they want is $$$
2. What you were told on the initial school tour and what you see after joining may not be correlated.

Overall School isn't that bad so we'll wait, ain't worried - Plano/Frisco is not short of better schools:)

Very happy with the school. Love the modern building. Center is very clean and well maintained. My child has adjusted very well.

I have had my daughter at Alpha Montessori since she was 3 1/2 and we both absolutely LOVE IT! Wonderful staff and teachers! She graduated in May of this year and this will be our last summer here, we are both sad to be leaving. Thank you AMH for an amazing childcare experience!

Dropped by to check them out to see if can grab some info. Front staffs were rude and unwilling to provide any information about the school. I left my info so they can contact me regarding to an upcoming open house, never heard from them again. I would consider the staff to be unprofessional and not courteous. Regarding to the quality of the school, I guess I will never find out. I wonder if I was Indian or white, I would have treated differently.

We love Alpha Montessori. You can see the inspiration that the beautiful place brings to the teachers and children alike. My daughter is happy to go there every morning. Not only the kids get to meet new friends, but it has become a great place for the parents also. Highly recommend this childcare facility.
