Alsatian Golf Club, Castroville TX

Wow, what a dramatic change.the course has always been in good shape.but it’s so much better now. The first thing I noticed was how clean the carts were, and cold bottles of water (free). Not sure what’s going on.but definitely go out there and enjoy the new and improved experience… I enjoyed a great 4 hour round, and that’s pretty rare for a foursome at any course.the Staff was great.and a lot of smiles.keep up the great job. SARGE

Always a good choice for a round of golf. Very challenging and easy holes. Best of both worlds.

Great golfing experience courteous and friendly staff, left GPS speaker on cart, cart crew found it and turned it in to pro shop 5 stars

I enjoy taking the drive out to Castroville to play this course. It's seems like every time I play it, it's always in good/great condition. Juliana's (hope I spelled correctly) is also a must stop after the round.

Golf course in great shape older lady was somewhat rude but got over that since she looked like under pressure I booked online was told I did it wrong? Didn't know I had to take a test for that lol

We played it 3 times while staying at the Rv resort next door. Actually husband walked to course one day. Interesting, fun layout. It’s a rural course, plays fast and the weekday fees are spot on.
We had drinks and apps in the bar afterwards.fast, friendly service.
Would recommend … weekends are a bit too busy.looks like locals ️it!

It was a cold and windy day. The course was in great shape from bunkers (hit a few) to fairways and greens (didn’t hit enough). Thank goodness for the ambiance of the clubhouse! We'll do it again for sure! Cheers!

Left a review siting some opportunities that I had at this course. Felt like the team there was apathetic to the guest experience and that they were in some ways rude. Tried to be professional in the feedback idk.it just wasn't a good value or experience. I received a call from the manager this morning and now I know why it was the way it was. Yikes! She made it very clear in a firm and direct way that those were her rules and her people were great and did everything the way she expected. She never asked for details or apologized for anything. She lectured that her policies were right, her staff was justified and my review was wrong. Thank you for the feedback!

Great place to play, course is in great shape. Greens are slick. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Well maintained course. Great value. There are a couple of tricky holes so pay close attention.

We were there for the food!
Went there for dinner with some friends. Admittedly the food was good and there was plenty of selection for gluten-free. Which my husband prefers to eat.
The atmosphere was fine dining and relaxing at the same time.
Service was great. Food was served quickly.we never ran out of beverage and our plates were cleaned off the table when done
For me, for the prices, I was disappointed in the deserts. I somehow expected more. But you be the judge. I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you go. Take that special someone there and enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal.

Juliana's restaurant is a gem. Food is always better than you expect. And service is impeccable

I wanted to find a place that would book a tee time in advance for my Birthday. It’s hard for me to grab morning tee times a week out like most courses require. I posted on FB about this dilemma. Laura reached out to me and said she could accommodate such request. Course was in phenomenal shape. Greens were wonderful.

Beautiful and well maintained. And there's the marvelous Juliana's Restaurant - except Juliana's does not serve breakfast!

Golf course is exceptional, all personnel friendly and professional. Julianna’s restaurant is a real treasure, sweet potato fries are life altering. Menu diverse, all food exceptional, really cold beer…
Castroville should be proud to have a facility this world class.
