Alterstart Systems Inc. reviews
10Very Professional People. Alternator worked perfect in place of an old 6 Volt Positive Ground Generator. My Plymouth now is very happy to charge the battery.
Great customer service! They helped me diagnose the cars alternator problem and sent a replacement in record time.
A good and practical place with a very solid good service. Very content with the purchase of my vehicle part feel better than shopping at any other auto part store. A good price cheaper than anywhere else.
Had the alternator I needed in stock and ready for pickup with my core exchange. Great price and great service!
This guy really knows alternators. My truck has never run as good as it dose now. He custom built me a 400 Amp it is the best money I spent on it so far. My stereo works a/c n light work like they never have it runs so much better n the window roll up n down 10 x faster. Thank you.
Quality shop and quality folks. The lowball reviews reflect the character of the reviewers for sure! The fellow from the east coast wanting warranty service on a shipping damaged unit after 15 years is a special type of fecal matter that makes me glad his stink isn't upwind or local.
Great professional guys! I highly recommend! Their beautiful alternator got my old 51 ford back on the road with original 6v positive ground.
Great service dropped off an alternator in the morning they called shortly afternoon that it was ready. Very fair pricing and quick turn around. This is a very reliable place.
WOW looks brand new. Sent them my old rusted, dilapidated, non functioning alternator last week and its back in my hands today. Less than a week including shipping. Great customer service. Patrick took the time to answer all my questions. I knew right away that I was dealing with the right people. The end result was much better than my expectations. Thank you.
I spoke to a guy named Pat on March of 2020 about a 170 amp alternator I purchased in 2006 I also purchased a lifetime warranty with this alternator. I explained to Pat that the alternator is not working properly and that I have the receipt that shows it has the lifetime warranty. He told me to send the part to him with a copy of the receipt that he would take care of it and fix what he needs to. I sent the item via UPS the alternator broke during shipping. I put in a claim and was told I will get reimbursed by UPS they don't know when. On April 16 I call Pat at alter start to explain the situation and to tell him that I will purchase a regular alternator from him and as per the warranty If he would be able to rebuild it like the original alternator I sent him so it would put out 170 Amps he said NO. He said he will sell me a already hi output alternator for the regular price of almost $300. Then he gets nasty on the phone and basically says he doesn't want to here it. If I knew he wasn't going to honor the warranty I would have never shipped the item from New York to Texas and saved me the hassle and just stayed local. What I am asking for is an alternator with the same guts he was going to put in the damage one before UPS broke it. I will purchase a basic alternator. The guy is rude and unprofessional doesn’t have any people skills to deal with customer’s concerns. Will take business somewhere else.
