Altus Lumberton Hospital

As far as ER visits go, this was my best yet. Almost no wait. Clean, professional, and most importantly, all the folks there had that human touch. Not just going through the monotony of their day. If ya gotta go, go here.

I was seen quickly. They did x-ray of my neck and gave me pain and muscle relaxer shots, as well as a neck brace. I was in excruciating pain with neck spasms. They were very patient and kind. This is my second time to go there, and I recommend them highly.

I was very pleased with my experience at Altus. After I was signed in I immediately was taken to the exam room and the staff started doing the things they needed to do to help me. Everyone there was extremely kind and understanding. The facility itself was so warm feeling and extremely neat and clean. I will go back to Altus again if I need medical attention. I will also recommend all my friends and family to use Altus if they need medical attention. This was the nicest visit I have ever experienced at a medical institution. Thank You So Much

I felt like the doctor didn’t take the time with me and listen to me. The nurses were nice and listened. I had no relief when I left. I felt the exact same. Also, the dr told me everything was normal on all my test. I get home with the results and every single test Ct, x ray, and ecg had abnormalities.

Got in fast, very friendly, very efficient and kept me aware what was going on. Can't say enough how kind and friendly they were.

Tons of questions answered before leaving. Nice to know this facility exists in Lumberton!

I was greeted at the front desk with concern and professionalism. The nurse was genuinely interested in providing the best care possible. I was made very comfortable. The doctor was so nice and caring. He wanted to make sure what was going on with my knee. He treated me like I was part of his family.

My daughter is 3 and was scared to death.dr Tristan is the worst ER DR I have ever seen. Do not take your children here! Maybe he is good with Adults but not with children. I will NEVER bring one of my children here again! Check in was great. That was about it

Most of the staff was friendly, albeit, the Doctor was not and she was unprepared to deal with a simple splinter removal from my thumb. She ordered xrays knowing that a wooden splinter will most likely not show. At the end I was dismissed with the splinter still in my thumb, an antibiotic shot and prescription for 10 days. Definitely, this Dr needs to learn how to use local anesthesia and a scalpel to perform such a simple task, task Doctors learn early in their studies. I will not recommend this place to anyone, ah, but I still had to pay for their "services" even though, my small issue was not mitigated.

I was in Alta’s hospital on 6/22/22 and again on 7/14/22. I’d like to personally thank the following employees for their exceptional care with me: Jessy, Ashley, Sarah, Tara, Aneta and Willa and the nurse that put in my IV. ALL of the physicians were top notch and did an excellent job as well… Thank you all very much God bless.

Went in today with kidney stone. Got right back and was treated quickly and with such friendly, caring nurses and nurse practitioner. So much nicer and faster than any Beaumont hospital. Highly recommend!

Great place when you need some medical attention. The Doctors and all people there treat you with great care. Been there 3 times. I went to the hospital in Jasper Texas, worse place you could ever go. Lumber Texas Altus, great hospital.

I wish I could leave zero stars! What kind of "hospital" doesn't test a small child who has a high fever, chest pain, and vomiting, for anything? Sent home with no diagnosis, no medicine. Clinic determined flu diagnosis. Thanks for nothing Altus!

Doctor & nurses took good care of me & they saved me from permanent damage due to a stroke I suffered. They sent me to another hospital in Houston for further care & I’m very satisfied with the place they sent me. They made all the right decisions & choices regarding my health.

This Dr. O character needs to go. Unfortunately both times my wife and daughter have been here he has been the one on site and he has been an absolute joke. How this guy holds any type of license is beyond me. We have walked out both times because he has no idea what he is doing and will not listen to the patient. The nurses disagreed with his suggestions and "care" on both occasions. I don't know if the other doctors are like this, but if you do end up going to the ER there make sure "Dr O" is not there. If he is, you will be wasting your time and money and leave with no diagnosis.

The check-in went fine. When the nurse put in the IV. It was very painful. When I got home and removed the bandage there was a big bubble of blood at the injection site. Later bruising covered about a three inch square of my arm, really bad bruising. That nurse needs more training. Otherwise even went fine. The techs that did the ct scan were very good and informative.

Absolutely disappointed in this ER. Brought my daughter in for a broken ankle, was given Motrin and very mild pain meds…. Took X-rays. Went the following Monday, after a weekend of her screaming in pain and no sleep. Took their x rays to an ankle specialist and immediately she said this is way worse than what they said and received pain meds that actually work and allowed her pain to ease so she could sleep. My daughter will be having surgery at Texas Childrens for this break. The pain she endured was heart wrenching. Will not be back here, will not recommend to anyone.

3rd time using Altus Lumberton, couldnt ask
for better care. In and out within, couple hours. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses, Dr's and the lab and xray techs were very nice and right on the problem. I deffenty would recommend them to anyone.
