Do not use this clinic for anything. They are unorganized, don’t follow through and don’t listen to the patients. I went for a referral that I needed and was given incorrect information and was told I would be called back for an appointment. I also asked for my X-rays which I needed for other purposes. I was told they may or may not give me the MRI I needed and that their MRI quality was bad. After multiple calls I finally got a call back after 6 days. Dr.martins nurse said I wasn’t going to demand what the doctor does. I simply asked for the MRI my neurosurgeon needed and would not even give me an appointment without one. Go elsewhere for patient care. This place is horrible.

As an update I was contacted by Dr. Martin via a letter who advised he was terminating our relationship for my failure to maintain a proper doctors/ patient relationship. My sole purpose for the visit was for a referral to my neurosurgeon. Dr. Martin told me the MRI requested by my neurosurgeon would kill me due to ripping the metal out of my neck. He did not know they started using titanium since 2000. Dr. Martin told me I had to have a CT scan wasting more of my time and money as I suffer in level 9 pain. They definitely didn’t have to send a termination letter. Why would anyone go back to that?

I hate that I have to write this. I've been coming here for years and I like Dr. Malone. However, the past few months it seems that NO ONE there knows how to answer the phone or return a phone call. I have been trying to get a hold of anyone to ask a pretty urgent question about the medication I'm on, how long I need to take it, or how I can get off of it. I've lost track of how many times I've called up there, just to listen to a busy signal, or sit on hold for 10 minutes and nobody to answer. When I do get to talk to somone, they tell me "I'll put this message on high priority and someone will call you back today" and every time, guess what? Yep, nobody calls me back. Surprise, surprise. And when I call the next day I get told " Well we dont have a record that you called us". I get if they're short staffed and busy, but there's a line when its just plain incompetent. I guess I need to find a new primary care, I don't want to but not sure what else to do.

I had a very bad experience with the clinic, since the beginning, with the scheduling of my appointment being for 2 months after the date I called and afterwards being rescheduled for 2 months later, from the original appointment date. On the date, of the rescheduled appointment, I got there 30 minutes earlier, as requested, and finished all the paperwork at around 1: 10pm and kept waiting for them to call me to see the dr, at 1: 55pm the lady informs me that the dr couldn't see me and they would need to reschedule me again. As my wife had an appointment 2 days after mine, the lady said I could go at the same date and time, I've even received a call to confirm my appointment. On the date and time rescheduled I was there again 30 min earlier than the appointment time, when the lady said the dr couldn't see me on that day and that my appointment would need to be moved to october.
This is not only disrespectful but also unprofessional. If they can not handle a simple schedule, how can they be able to handle people's health? The only thing I know is I'm not going back there and that I will strongly discourage any one, who asks me about the clinic, to go there.

They were so helpful! I was nervous to go in because I’m new to Amarillo, but they were so kind! Quick service and very helpful!

My appointment wasn’t until 1: 30 and I was called back at 12: 30 pm. I’ve been seeing Se Britten for almost 6 years and he taken good care of me and my mom.

I was a new patient with my new insurance, first appt was odd as the Dr Burson just kept asking what can I do for you, I thought it was a new patient consultation, so I started discussing a med issue and her response was if you don't like it, don’t take it, wow, then she said if there’s nothing else than I have patients waiting? So I told the front desk she would not work out and they offered me another doctor. So I seen Dr. Odell I thought he was a really good doctor very intelligent young and a very good bedside manner so to speak seemed on top of his game. However, it was a struggle for three weeks to try to get my meds all called in. I had to call every day to ask them to please finish calling in my medication’s. I got two then one then another one over a couple weeks Then I got three called into two different pharmacies and I had to cancel them at one and go pick them up at the other than the dosage was wrong and the supply was wrong so I had to have that corrected then I was still missing one medication that I was running out of, and I ended up being without that medication for almost a week. It was always a struggle. I was never allowed to talk to the doctor even though I had sent two messages in their portal and they were never responded to. I was told for six days I was getting a call back. I did finally get a callback from the medical assistant or nurse assistant. I’m not sure exactly what her title was. She was always rude and would tell me things that would never take place so it was a difficult challenge at best and didn’t make any sense. I’ve never had to call every single day just to try to get medication‘s called in no patient should ever be left without medication and a lack of concern from this lady and from the office was unbelievable. I had asked for the office manager, but I wasn’t given her she doesn’t get on the phone apparently, I even saw the IT person they had for the portal who said there were no messages sent to me and the lady said that she sent me two messages and they verified there were none. Then she changed her story and said she had responded to one message, but there were still no messages. I don’t know what’s happening in this world that the lack of care is unbelievable and frustrating at best.

Loved my medical experience today with Allison Bromwell, definitely cared about my issues today and was knowledgeable on the referrals I needed.

I was dismissed from my dr at the Amarillo Diagnostic clinic. So i had to find a new dr. Luckily when I called the Amarillo Family Physicians, and got Dr Montana ODell. He is young, very professional and I believe he cares what happens to me. He is very caring. Highly recommend this dr.
