Amarillo's locally owned and nationaly recognized National bank! Been here forever and will be here forever! A great simple bank to have a checking account with!

Working with this group has made returning from maternity leave so easy and enjoyable! They really make you feel welcome everyday and the management truly cares about you as an employee and as a person! It truly means a lot to know that my boss will stop my mom in United to talk to my daughters and ask how everyone is doing! Most of my previous bosses wouldn't even recognize me, much less my family!

In a nutshell, please ask employees that are not on the clock to eat in the break room. Eating in the drive thru window and staring at me while there's a line at 820 in the morning and only one person is working is rude. I don't need you to call me about it, I am just asking that employees behave professionally as they do at every other ANB

I usually don't leave bad reviews but I recently had 3 negative experiences in close concession with this bank and that requires i take my business somewhere else.

1. Someone burglarized my vehicle 6 months ago and stole account information. I closed my accounts and opened new ones with new numbers. The rep who helped me was very sweet but she indicated that my bills that had been on automatic withdrawal would automatically be adjusted auto withdawal on my new account, one of which is my car payment. For five months, I'm assuming that my payments are coming out, so much so that I was making what I thought were 'extra' payments toward my principle, trying to pay it off sooner. 5 months later, I get ONE notice in the mail saying that my loan will default soon if I dont make a payment. I only owed 1 payment because I had been making what I thought were extra payments, lol. So frustrating. I'm a nursing student with 2 jobs so I don't have time to sit down and look at my bank statement with detail scrutiny. I just trust that it's getting taken care of. I didn't make a big deal out of it because it was the first mishap. Not a big deal. Easy fix.

2. I had to get the entire break system fixed on my car and when I tried to pay I couldn't, because it was over $500. I had to call and tell them what I was paying for. And I was late to work for that and also couldn't use my card for the rest of the day unless i called and asked permission.
Alright, annoying. But i appreciated that they were looking out for me. Not a great excuse to my boss, though, because when I come in at 5, everyone else leaves and I'm the only one on staff. When I'm late, my boss is the one who has to stay for me. And since her job is more like 60+ hours/week her time is precious and it just made me look really bad. Cool. Whatever. Forgiven.

3. I deposited a check saturday morning because I didn't get the check until friday night. The convenience of having a bank that is open on saturday is awesome.until they put a hold on your account over the weekend.

My boyfriend lives in Dallas so we each drive halfway to meet one another on the weekends frequently. When I deposited the check, $4700, I requested $300 back to pay back some debts i owed for mechanic fees on my car. I asked the gentleman who did my transaction if the money would be available for me to use and he responded, "yes. " I was asking because, if not, i would have requested more cashback to take with me on my combined total 5.5 hour drive for gas and food. I found that his statement was true because afterward, I had to go buy some new work clothes (I went from being a personal trainer in which my whole wardrobe was workout clothes to a "communications specialist" in which the dress code was a bit more strict.) I drove down to vernon on a full tank. I even used my card to pay for dinner in vernon (he paid for the hotel), I bought some toiletries saturday night and bottled water and coffee at walmart sunday morning to prepare for my drive home.

I reached childress running on an empty tank of gas and still 2 hrs from my home. I got to the gas station, tried to fill up and the reader read INSUFFICIENT FUNDS.although I had close to 4,000 in there. The app showed I had $3800. I called their customer service line only to find out that she couldn't do anything to help me. All she could do was see the error code. I had no cash and I couldn't use my card to get a hotel. I had no way to eat. Nothing. I asked the poor customer service rep why she was available for my assistance if she was unable to assist me. I know it wasn't her fault, but I was so frustrated that I was crying. I was stuck in my car at a gas station in childress texas for 3 extra hours yesterday until a friend sent me gas money via western union.

It's Monday and my card will be locked until tomorrow. I have called and tried to see if there's anything I can do to use my money today and there's not. I can't even withdraw in person. I had a vet appointment for my cat today. I am closing my account ASAP. Ridiculous.

I always receive excellent service at this branch! The tellers are always friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Nothing but great professionalism!

I have really enjoyed my experience at the ANB Bell branch thus far! I have been welcomed into their family with open arms. I love walking in and being greeted by all of the smiling faces. I have yet to have a bad experience at the bank! I would recommend ANB to everyone, but especially the Bell branch!

We went there for a loan and the loan officer was very rude and really didn't want to deal with us. Will never go back there.

Justin is always so helpful and the other staff are just as kind and helpful as well. I have never walked into this location and didnt get attention immediately. I am very satisfied with their level of service and I wouldnt recommend or do business anywhere else.
