Amazon Fulfillment Center FTW3-4 reviews
15Wonderful place to work! I Appreciate all the hard work my coworkers aee putting in during thia pandemic.
I bought, a misrepresented product. Then, after numerous calls, and empty promises, they stonewalled me, until they deemed the transaction to be too old to issue a refund. Amazon gift card is not the same as my hard earned money.
If you don't mind working hard, this is the place to go. Your benefits are AWESOME and begin on DAY ONE. They offer shifts around the clock. They have 10 hour shifts so you work only 4 days a week. I am 60 years of age and new to the city. Finding work is hard.finding work with benefits.nearly impossible. But they hired ME. I DID work hard, but I felt that they treated me fairly and often said "thank you" to me for my work. It is such an interesting place to work.to be a part of such a huge organization.world wide! I am GRATEFUL for the time I got to work for Amazon.
I do MOST of my shopping thru Amazon.there's almost nothing they don't carry.for the best prices anywhere.
I worked here since they practically opened back in 2016 for a little over 2 years before I left.
There's pros and cons like any other warehouse job, but I loved it here. The jobs are physically demanding but it's not too bad. The place is generally clean and well kept. Security was always nice and professional. As long as you do your job properly, you shouldn't have any problems with write ups. They always had great little fun things going on including having food trucks come by during lunch, family day, bingo during lunch and contests.
The associates here were great, I really miss the people I worked with in my department. I also had plenty of great AMs working here, though usually the ones right out of college didn't know much but tried. HR was always helpful, never had an issue with them. I had 3 GMs by the time I left but Matt was the best one. He tried to resolve any issues that were brought up ti him.
You're lucky if you get to work here because other Amazon's in the DFW area aren't as great.
Good place to work and good people. Good pay for a warehouse job. If you have good work ethics you will do fine.
Dont take care if drivers at all over 100 deg got to shut off truck and wait forever about 130 deg in my truck
Alot of the people at the guard shacks are very rude
Its like they dont realize we move the product that keeps them in business
They should treat us like there most valuable visiter
People working at this facility are very rude to people online and harass them to the extent they troll individuals.its about time amazon cut ties with certain individuals.
So to be completely honest I quit working here and didn't leave on great terms. My opinion might be biased but I will be as fair as possible with my review.
The working environment here is ok. If you are ok with hard physical labor then you won't have an issue doing the required work here which is mostly just repetive motion for 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. Management is good about making stretching and safety a priority. The people here are kind which makes for a good working environment.
However. Management is very unorganized when it comes to communicating with employees. There was a month straight where I was told to take "mandatory voluntary time off" because they had no work for me to do.this is a full time job, I can't pay rent if I can't work.plus I wasted gas money at 5am to be turned away. During "peak season" or Christmas season my schedule would change from a 4 day week with 10 hour days to a 6 day week working 12 hour days.and employees would MAYBE get 24 hours notice of the change. I ultimately had to leave, it was way to stressful and hard on my body.
Good place too seek employment for second income, the employee's seem to work without any pressure from supervisors.
I am not a fan of this company's labor practices. I won't go into detail, but they could use an overhaul.
As far as warehouse jobs go, this one isn't too bad. However, if you're 25 or older, it can be a bit trying to have a manager fresh out of college. It's the people that you work with that make it great! You do get paid holidays, which is really nice, and they often have events where they have food catered for the associates.
Dock worker was a little bit upset that I hook my tractor up to the trailer while still at the dock. He try to discipline me and said I could have killed him because if I pulled away while he was loading he would have fell out the back of the trailer.
*tandems not slide back, no trailer stand under the nose, Wheels weren't chocked. But I was risking his life by hooking my tractor up?
The absolute worst company to work for. It's the America's version of a sweatshop. RUN don't walk.
Horrible place to work! The so called team leaders are slave drivers. U get written up for the littlest bs. Work here only if you're desperate and want to hate your life! Too much labor for the lowest pay I've ever earned. Too many other options for income. Wouldn't refer my worst enemy to work here.
Good benefits. Some positions are good. Some positions they write you up for everything. Focus on quality not rate but get a write up if you don't meet rate. Then you focus on rate and get a write-up for quality. People are nice.
