Iv been to a lot of Muay Thai gyms and Ambush is by far my favorite. It’s great for all experience levels. The facility is well maintained and the trainers really care about your growth. If your looking for a Great gym look no further.

A good place to hone skills if you’ve already got a solid foundation and are ready to learn a lot very quickly.
They’re especially kind and receptive to new women members.

But I think I’m too new and inexperienced for this sort of place.

Very welcoming but serious gym. Elton, Jenna, AJ, Jackson, Sean and Andrew are all talented coaches who keep things fun. Sunday Community Sparring is awesome!

Great place for beginners! The structure and coaching lay a strong foundation to build up from. I’d definitely recommend coming in with shin guards along with your gloves.

Lots of veteran players here too. Definitely a good place if you’re looking to stay sharp/get sharper.

Ambush has great coaches who truly know what they are doing. I've been training for 7 years in kickboxing/ Muay Thai/ MMA and this place has good coach's honestly. Not to mention they have a wonderful kids program as well very organized and planned. As an Elementary Physical Education teacher near by you guys do a great job with your kids program!

I started out in the SA Ambush Muay Thai gym 3yrs ago under the coaching of Bobby Peak and then moved to Austin and continued here with coach Elton. Before Ambush Muay Thai I had no fight experience and after only a yr of training, I feel like I have evolved rapidly, especially when visiting other fight gyms,

Ambush Muay Thai has positively impacted my life on so many levels and I am happy I chose this gym over the rest,

Every one is kind and empathetic but also very skilled and elite in everything they teach and do,

This is the spot for Muay Thai

No pressure tactics. You can join, leave, and have a good time the whole time. Everyone is positive and friendly without overdoing it. Definitely a top gym.

This place is amazing seriously. I’ve been to decent amount off martial art gyms and ambush is top tier. Super clean first of all, second the most welcoming crew I’ve met. Made me feel extremely welcomed. The class was amazing. I’ve trained for 10 plus years and I still got to learn something new from the team over there. I will absolutely be back

Ambush muay thai boxing is an amazing gym facility. Just two months ago started my 15 year old son in their program. He loves it and looks forward to every session of the week.
The place has great positive energy.
All of the coaches and staff are wonderful and really invest time with the beginners. It's impressive to see the level of cleanliness and hygiene standards that the staff as well as their members maintain in the gym. I am already so happy to see how the atmosphere at this gym is adding more confidence to my son's life. After every session I pick him up I can see how uplifted and motivated he feels. He always expresses how kind, helpful, and encouraging everyone is to each other during their training. What else can a parent love about a place where the kid always feels welcomed, inspired and is supported by the people who are way more experienced and well trained than him? We are grateful to have found this amazing place for my son to train and grow!

WE did 2 pretrial class at Ambush. We are all impressed by the class technique of demoing and then testing the demo through contact partner sparing. It was not air dancing like other martial art classes. It is more combat with punch and kicking the partner.
Thanks for the patiences with dealing with us newbies.
My greatest enjoyment was watching one of the adult coach training with the youngest athlete there.
My second was listening to my son afterward, amazed at his partner defending himself at such ease.
After hopscotching other martial art classes for determining which one she prefers, My daughter wants to join Ambush because of the actual application of demo.
I would like to sign up both kids for Ambush Muay Thai classes.

My family and I moved from out of town and found a new Muay Thai home with Ambush in Austin. Classes and coaches are top notch, always a workout and always learning something new! But for me, the family atmosphere and inclusiveness is beyond compare! We're always treated like "one of their own" here. Highly recommended!

I train in another dojo and went into their community session. Very welcoming atmosphere and will definitely be back to train with everyone there again.

As the most active competitive Muay Thai team in central Texas, it's easy to argue how effective what you learn will be. Whether you are simply training because you want to learn a new art, to learn for self defense, or if you are interested in competing, this is the place to be.

That is a pretty simple overview of how effective the art you will learn is, but the team itself is much more than that. Part of the beauty of Ambush Muay Thai is the sense of a family away from family. Being able to come to the gym and forge life long friendships while you forge your skills. The energy and passion people have to help each other improve is unmatched in any gym I have seen. Lead by out head coach and gym owner Elton, our team of coaches are world class. The program itself aims to build you into an effective fighter. Coming here feels like much more than just going to a gym, it's like going home to have fun.
