American Freedom Roofing & Construction, El Paso TX

This company agreed to work on my roof in the beginning of October 2022. Eduardo Duran, the owner, took our check for over $4000 as half payment so that they could start work on our roof. Unfortunately, they never did any work what so ever, and have yet to refund us any of our insurance money. In the beginning, Eduardo kept rescheduling the start date. We would agree on a date but no one would show up, not even a phone call letting us know they weren't Coming. This happened many times until we decided to cancel everything a requested a refund around Thanksgiving 2022. We feel scammed, it has been very stressful trying to get our refund, worst experience ever, I would never recommend this company to anyone, this company does not deserve its name "American Freedom Roofing & Construction", it's the opposite of that. We are now seeking legal counsel, it is now March 2023 and no refund, check the YELP reviews, there you will see this same thing has been done to many others. Also, the Better Business Bureau has this company rated at "F" despite the American Freedom Roofing & Construction website stating they are BBB certified. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.
