I own 2 Honda cars currently and have owned 2 different Hondas at different times in life. My recent experience with Auto nation Honda and Honda Company has resulted in loss of trust with the brand. I own Pilot and received a letter earlier in the year that I needed to bring it in for some recall work on the front hood. I called the number on Honda Nation website and spoke to the agent who helped me to schedule an appointment. However, upon my asking how long it would take them to fix it so I could plan to be without car accordingly, he said he did not know and transferred me to service advisor.no one answered and I left a message.did not receive any call, so I called again next day. The call agent said he could only help schedule but did not have any info in terms of how long would it take me to get car back after recall work. He transferred me to another advisor and I had to leave a message as no answer. No call, and I called next day again. I explained to the agent that I have called multiple times, have left messages but no one calls back. I asked him to transfer to the Service Manager. Guess what, I had to leave a message for her as well and no one called! Waiting for another 3 days, I decided to file complaint with Honda (the company itself). I received an auto-reply that I will get a reply in 3 days. After a week, I received email stating that "they received my email and have documented a formal dealership complaint on my behalf". I replied stating that I was hoping that they would help resolve my matter by giving me a specific name to contact at the dealership. I then waited for a week and no answer. I sent another email to Honda that I was waiting for their response. I then received email saying that a case agent will call me with in a week. Few days later, I received a call from an unknown number. I was lucky to answer it as it was from Honda. He said that he was calling to check that I was the person who filed complaint and that a case agent will call me within a week. That call was never made!

Honda won't stand behind an engine with less than 71K miles. Goes to show the lack of quality in their product. Owned nothing but Hondas for the last decade and a half and will never buy another.

Purchased extended warranty but when I needed a tow they told me they had no info on my vehicle. Called dealership and they said I was covered for towing. Very poor customer service and very poor record keeping. I am just glad I was not in an emergency situation. They just don't care.

BUYER BEWARE!

We have a Honda Oddyessey that's maintained by David McDavid and just left the shop 1 month ago with only 1 payment left on the loan.

The check engine light came on today and the dealer told us that we need $4,000 in engine repairs. The service advisor says the "eco" feature design used in Honda engines shuts down 3 of 6 cylinders to save fuel. The result is that the 3 always active cylinders work twice as much as the others which caused the engine failure due to more wear.

Update: I was assigned a case number and case worker to look at my claim. After 2 days, I called back and they cancelled the case accidentally. I opened another case and received a vm from a case worker (Jessica) on 10/25/21 who said she would call me back in 3 days. It's been 11 days as of today 11/5/21 and still no call back.

AHM District Parts and Service Manager Allen Linsley just asked me to take my daughters Honda Civic to an independent service shop and then down the road trade it in for a Camry with his ridiculous 30% “good will” assistance. Repaired the car with a new Honda evaporator at our local dealer 13 months and 3000 miles ago along with other repairs approaching $2000.30 days over and more than 9,000 miles under the 12/12,000 warranty and this is what we are offered.terrible. Allen doesn’t understand the meaning of customer good will.
