I called for appointments for my 2 doodles last week they had me email shot records and told me to bring them in at 1pm Thursday. When I got there they said I had no appointment. That wouldnt have been so bad but the receptionist was very RUDE! Thumbs Down for this place!

Has a history of mistreating dogs. Find a better place for your daycare and grooming needs.

Updated to 5 stars. APC has been great in helping us resolve the issue from March. We’ve been back for service and our dogs were handled perfectly! Updated rating back to 5 stars. Thank you, APC!

Updated 04/29/2023: APC responded on 4/19 over text. They have changed their cards to include allergies and opt out of fragrance. I’ve scheduled another appointment and will update with the results.

On 03/15/2023, American Pup Culture did not honor an allergy request, even when I visually confirmed it was written on the instruction card before leaving the dogs. This is not a small miss as it created an allergen response in our home for over 2 days. Over text, they apologized and said that "sometimes when reading the note cards the groomers may miss some information by accident" and further mentioned that it would be written in bold the next time, but they did not compensate or offer compensation that we had to rewash the dogs twice at home to get the allergen off the dogs or that individuals were ill due to their mistake. Further, we left a message for a manager return call still have not heard back after explaining the issue.

This review gets two stars because the front staff is super sweet and this is the first mistake in 3 visits. I would still like it if they would return our call and appropriately compensate for the incorrect work and the fact that we had to redo it at home. I hope to be able to update this review in the future.

I have been calling for 3 days, at all different times, and have not gotten anyone in the phone once. They came as a recommendation from my vet, and I will let the vet know how disappointed we are

Jackson is the best for doodles! They will always call you if they need to make any grooming changes. Pinot has loved it the past 2 years he's been here!

I was initially worried about taking my dog to the groomers due to her being very shy, but it was a great experience overall. Everyone working there was nice. I scheduled with the website and had no issues. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a groomer to try American Pup Culture. I will definitely use them in the future.

Best best place for my dog GS. They love it so much that when I tell them we are going to see their friends and get a bath, they know what I’m taking about. Just the best for my lips. They get to play and hangout with their friends.

Great service. My pup is a handful to get her nail done. They handled it great and she came out with a smile. Couldn’t recommend them anymore.

We’ve brought our dog multiple times. The first few times they did FANTASTIC, but the last 2 times have been a complete disappointment. We have tried different groomers and recently it has not been a job well done. Her hair cut is patchy throughout her body.the unevenness is on some parts of her legs and rear. We’ve asked for tail and ears to be trimmed but that wasn’t done. We have seen poodles come out and they look great, so maybe they are just better with certain breeds. I don’t see how this was worth $60+

VERY DISAPPOINTED

These are such big-hearted people here. Mitch, the owner, is such a kind man who really cares about his business. I know they are busy, but I trust my dogs are in caring hands. I'm very happy I found this place, because I've seen some bad stuff at other places!

Great groomers, but poor management leads to not treating the dogs well. My dog had his grooming appointment scheduled for 11am and when we went to pick him up at 6pm they had just started his groom. My dog was inside of a small cage with another dog for 6 hours without water or being able to use the restroom. This is not the groomers fault but management definitely needs to improve. There was also 2 other women there to pick up their dogs who were very upset that their dogs still weren’t ready and in the cages for that long as well. We asked why they just did not let our dog in the daycare room to play rather than being locked up all day and they said because we did not pay for daycare even though it is their fault for overbooking on grooming. I have worked at a dog boarding/daycare/grooming facility and we NEVER put the dogs in kennels for that long and we ALWAYS let them play in the daycare room until they were ready to be groomed. My dog was drinking water for 5 minutes when he got home, and he is 10 years old so no water or bathroom for 6 hours was hard for him. Management needs to do better.
