If I could give no stars I would. This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. After three months of call every other day to see where building was it and going. They finally call set appt and my husband and I have to take day from our own construction business, no call no show. After hours track down installers and they are in AZ I'm on NM. Wasred my 850.00 dollars day. Finally shows up at 830 Friday night puts on head lamp and want to put my building up in the dark. At 10: 30 pm ask them to leave it to late. Said be back in morning Saturday now shows up Sunday and finally finishes at 8: 30 Sunday night. 404.00 for a new door that looks like they went to restore and picked up. Told them not to put the door I will buy my own new door, did it anyway, and now wants me to pay for it. They said we will bring you a new one, three weeks and no new door. They are a huge mess of a company. Buyers beware.

Overall the building is very well done. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the windows. Two of the four would not open and close properly without removing the trim around the glass. I upgraded to the double pane windows for better insulation and it was not worth the extra cost. I have not been able to get the material to fix the issue. It would be nice if they would send the trim strips but my sales man has been trying with no success. As I stated the building is very nice, too bad for such a small issue to create a problem.

4 months and I still don't have the correct structure, haven't heard from anyone when it will be fixed properly

I had a great experience in the quoting, purchasing and install. My only recommendation would be to increase the level of communication when it comes to scheduling the install dates/times.

Our new tractor shed (carport/protective cover) is great. Installation was expedient and well done.

I bought a 20' X 25' carport and a 18' X 35' RVport. Both are just what I ordered. The only negative response I have is I am still finding and picking up screws they dropped and didn't make a good enough effort to pick up. We're not talking a few screws, but probably up around 20 or 30 so far. Other than that, I am very satisficed with my carports.

The installers for the American Steel did a great job on the construction of the building. However, the 10’ x 16’ garage door they installed doesn’t work properly. I’ve been waiting over two weeks for American Steel to send out someone to fix the problem, and I haven’t heard a thing. I desperately need this door opening and closing correctly. I would have given them a 5 star rating but not with this problem they don’t want to seem to fix! The door opens violently, it’s out of alignment, it takes two people to hold it down and close it. The hole cut for the locking latch is very sloppy. The installers also installed the wrong springs.

Carport looks great. The installer didn't put concrete support but said I didn't order it. It wasn't offered and I didn't know to ask. I feel like if it had to be asked for the sales people need to make sure that they inform the customer prior to completion of the order. Otherwise it was quick and easy and when I am ready to install another one I will return to American Steel.

The workmen were very good at their jobs and completed the install timely. It was a really hot day but they just kept on working. They cleaned up any debris and left the site clean and ready to be used.

I spoke with Karen Conteres today. She was pleasant to talk with, I was very impress with her knowledge.

Terrible! Best word to describe them. I spent over 16k on a 12x35x12 vertical garage with tons of upgrades. The installation had tons of mistakes, ie.extra holes, missing screws, half caulked doors, dented roll up doors, defective windows, damaged sheeting, poorly installed vapor barrier and missing sections of foam gap enclosure. This is only topped by a customer service department that even though acknowledged receipt of the claim hasn't returned calls or emails since. Been 15 days since I submitted the claim and still no one from American steel carports has called.
