America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Cedar Park TX

It has been such an unpleasant experience I'm writing this 1 week later.
I do a walk-in. I'm told I'd be in as soon as they could get to me. I go sit in the back where the waiting area is. After an hour, one of the employees asked if I have an appointment. I said I'm waiting to be seen. She comes back and says the person who checked you in forgot about you. I then get my eyes examined. Because I wasn't expecting to be stuck in this place this long, I told them I'd like to pay and go, to call me when the contact lenses are here. The same receptionist said, you can't do that, the doctor has to sign the paperwork. I'm thinking, I just saw the doctor, you're lying. Then I said again I just want to pay and leave. She said you can't because you have to go sit with sales to pay. At this point, I just want to get this over with. The sales person didn't know how to enter the information in the system so the manager had to do it so I had to wait for this to happen. I paid and left.
The next day I call to ask how long it will be. The receptionist put me on hold for over 10 minutes so I had to hang up. I call back later and ask the same thing. I'm told it will be 2 weeks.
Here's my point. The service has gone downhill really bad. I've been going to this location for 3 years. I will NEVER go back to America's Best.
They've wasted my time and provided terrible service, and turnaround time.

So 8 months later. I feel compelled to add this. When I got my contacts in I couldn't see very good after I put them in. There was nothing wrong with my original Rx, I was in because I lost a contact lens.
I called and told them, and they said they would order my original Rx. They said they would call me when they came in. After 2 weeks I never got a call, text, email, or message from them.

I just went to another place to get my correct Rx. It's not worth dealing with this location.

America's Best, if you want to know the information you're asking for just look up my name. It will tell you the location, date, old Rx, your current (wrong Rx)
If that's too hard, the location is the same location I gave this bad review, not sure why you can't connect the dots.
If that's too hard, it's the Cedar Park, Texas location.

Awesome place to go for eyewear for adults and children alike. The staff is A-1! The manager, Vicente, is top tier. The place is kept immaculate including the restrooms. I am a customer for LIFE!

Went in for an eye exam and two pairs of glasses. The prescription she came up with was so far off I couldn’t wear them. I requested they remake the two pairs with something closer to what I’m currently wearing and they agreed. I’m located in Hawaii and so they needed to be shipped. Both times I requested no signature required because I can’t get to a ups store and both times the request was ignored.

You’re better off going to Mexico.

Very impressive selection and prices. Bianca was very helpful, informative and professional. Highly recommend.

Arden and Dr. Chen were both extraordinary in every way. Friendliness, conversation and pertinent information like none other. I got such helpful solutions from them, solved questions, and fixed issues. The people who greeted me and did my paperwork were excellent as well. Phenomenal experience.

Can I give 10s? I love this place! Dr. Ma Trandai and Wendy gave me a very thorough exam. Arden helped me muddle through ordering contact lenses and glasses and was very patient and sweet. When I got home I was still not sure about what the insurance paid and what they should cover. I called the insurance company and they spoke with Arden about the claim and order. Long story short, she was able to find a solution when a patient only needs contacts for one eye! She ordered my contacts and called me the same day to let me know that my contacts were ordered and she was able to use my entire insurance coverage!
I couldn't have been more pleased that she took the time to take care of me promptly! It's hard to find good customer service anywhere these days and I felt very special and well taken care of.
I recommend this America's Best to everyone! You won't be sorry that you did.

Been a eye member here for many years. Pretty much started coming here when they first opened.

I have always been very pleased with the staff, doctors and their awesome manager Vincent. They provide excellent customer service. It's been so nice to have established a long term relationship with Americas Best.
I always feel very welcomed there and they have been very helpful to me throughout the years.

My 1st time here. I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly & I received excellent customer service. They also have a great selection of glasses. I will definitely be coming back!

I had read reviews prior to my visit. It is incredulous retail establishments haven't learned the buying public have options. Not everyone will be swayed by the "cheapest place" advertising.

If this organization wishes to understand why a client would take time to share such a negative rating/experience, message back. I would be more than willing to explain my feedback.

I am debating wether to add detail here without giving the company an opportunity to discuss break downs. Hopefully, someone reaches out and we can agree on a resolution.

I will certainly share the positives as well. Post "Covid emergency" customer service is still struggling to get people back into the brick and mortar establishments. It appears America's Best has not prioritized customer care.

Went in as a referral, they were quick and timely with my appointment and SO SO friendly. They didn’t push me to order anything like my previous eye doctors office, and it was a very affordable out of pocket eye exam considering I don’t currently have eye insurance. Will be returning and giving referrals!

Best Place Ever! Started new job, requires night driving, Was getting by with Readers, called got 2 pr with bifocals, better Eye exam $137.00 out the door! That's without vision insurance! Could Not Be Happier!

I've always preferred America's Best, everyone is always very nice and helpful. My pre exam and exam were very quick and I always love the selection of frames they have. I've signed up twice for their membership and it's been very helpful and affordable for me.

I'm not going to write a novel on here. Though I do want to express that this was the absolute worst experience that I have ever had.
