Italian Restaurant Amici reviews
5DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE! The restaurant is now home to Joes Pizza & Subs, which is taking advantage of the good reviews of Amici to bring people in. Very few options besides pizza & subs, only 2 different types of pasta: chicken Alfredo & meatball spaghetti.
Horrible service from the server who clearly hates her job. She doesn't understand customer service and can't get an order straight. My friend ordered food with No Cheese and explained he is lactose intolerant. The food came out with cheese on top and inside. No apology and no concern for what they did wrong, and no offer to get the food changed.
We ordered penne pasta with lots of veggies, a few mins later she came and said we've run out of penne you can have spaghetti. She didn't like it when we said we'd prefer a different pasta.
The pasta came out Loaded with Jalapenos.the cook clearly doesn't understand proportions.
The pizza was full of oil and hadnto be Mopped up with a paper napkin.
Don't go here if you have dietary restrictions. Don't go here if you're looking for a pleasant experience or good food.
Overall a terrible experience.
Snobby Staff and mediocre food. Also Way overpriced considering the afore Mentioned.
Whew! I have lived in the neighborhood for a minute and have always wanted to try this place. I ordered carry out, all the food was hot and seemed to be prepared fresh. My only complaint is that is was so bland, it lacked the flavors that I am used to tasting at Italian restaurants. This let me know that this was not authentic Italian food. I also had the spicy bbq wings, once again, flavorless. The Italian cream cake was bomb! My man loved the chocolate cake. I can give that to them for sure, but everything else was a flop. I wouldn’t return, the service was good, food just wasn’t it.

We recently had the opportunity to dine at Amici since it has changed. Which is fantastic also! The new owner and staff are very welcoming and personable. Enjoyed the relaxed environment. The ravioli, Caesar salad, and garlic bread was so delish! Please keep the BYOB Thank you for listening to my suggestions on more vegetarian optionsWe enjoyed the whole dining experience! Will be back! Highly recommended! Bon Appétit
