I have called the office atleast 6 times to schedule a lasik consult. Every time I call, the lasik consultant is busy and the front office takes my name and number and says she will call me. I have also left a message on her vmail directly and have yet to hear back. 2 of my family members had a very good experience with Dr. Khokar and it’s a shame I will not be getting my lasik done here for lack of communication and potential patient followup.

I'm seeing 20/20 and love not having to wear glasses anymore. I owe you big time Dr. Khokhar! I'm happy I finally got it done.

I was anxious at first, but each one of them took the time to answer any questions I had from my first free consultation to my actual operation and it definitely kept me calm. I would hands down recommend anyone considering Lasik to Dr. Amjad Khokhar.

I have contemplated getting lasik for years. I was really anxious at first, but Dr. Amjad is amazing during the consultation, answering all my questions. Finally decided to go for it since I am sick and tired of using contacts that dries my eye. Got lasik done a few days ago. The surgery went through without a hitch and it's been life changing. So happy with the results and experience.

The team was extremely welcoming and friendly, and did an excellent job making me feel comfortable when I was nervous (for no good reason). I have had issues with my eyes (dry eyes, seeing floaters, sensitivity to light). From the beginning to the end, Dr. Khokhar is professional, answered all of my questions, kind, and helped in lowering my anxiety. After surgery on both my eyes, I am happy with the results. No complications! Absolutely no complaints. Both eyes have 20/20 vision and life is easier and so much more pleasant now!

Dr. Khokhar and his staff are friendly and prompt to assist. I have been going to Dr. Khokhar for more than 14 years and he always takes his time with me. His staff is friendly and does a thorough job as well. Dr. Jiwani, the optometrist, also does a clean job to make sure the contact lens fits appropriately. Lastly, the office is a newer building, clean, spacious and well-organized.

I had the worst experience. I needed a second opinion. My pediatrician refers me to this Khokar clinic! I came here they did all the test. Obviously I didn't tell them that I was here for a second opinion. Then Dr Khokar give me a prescription of -3 for one eye and -5 for the other. After talking to him I show him the first prescription he said that's impossible this prescription is a mistake. And off course I believed him (my biggest mistake of life! I should have done a third opinion). My son wore those glasses for almost 1year and 2 months. In between we saw dr Amjad Khokar two times and per-him everything was going fine. Until I noticed that my son is watching everything very closely. I talk to his pediatrician they did a test with a machine and the result was showing that something was wrong with his eye with glasses and without his glasses. So they told me to check with my ophtalmologiste. I took an appointment. I didn't get dr Khokar but another female doctor. I noticed that she was doing the same tests on my son two times in a row. Then she asked me did he get any injury or a head trauma recently. I said no. Then she said that his vision got very worst. I check the prescription it says -7 and -8 I was surprised and chocked I ask her why? She said it can happens. Then I told her about my son's very first visit at the other ophtalmologiste they give me a prescription of -6 and -7. And I told her that it means dr Khokar was wrong he made a mistake and my son was wearing the wrong prescriptions for so many months! She was hesitating she was trying to avoid my questions. Then she tells me she is not able to check the history the system went down, she is going to give me a call tomorrow. The next day she says that it is very commun it can happen. I told her no! You are wrong it cannot happened you guys made a mistake! I told her I want to speak to dr Khokar. Next thing I did I took my son to Eye Institut of Houston with Doc Faheem Inayat Ali with the recomandation of a friend's. He was shocked and told me my son's vision instead of being 20/20 was 220/20. He needs to wear a patch on one eye for one week then he has to wear another patch on the other eye for one week. Due to this huge mistake he has developed amblyopia. His brain and his vision are not working together. When my son was wearing his new prescription glasses he screamed laoudly! " O I can see better Woow I can see better look at this wow! He made me cry, everyone was looking at him. Meanwhile I went back to talk to doc Khokar. Overthere I was told that I need to make an appointment to talk to him. I made an appointment. At the appointment I was told to pay I told them no I just have few questions they insisted i needed to pay otherwise I can't talk to the doctor. I refused to pay. I yelled at the staff. I ask them the records of my son. They said that the lady who take care of that isn't working today and i have to come back in two days. When I returned two days later they said the same story again the lady is not here. I was out of me Enough is enough! I start yelling and crying at the same time! Everyone was looking at me. Then they take me on the side and give me my sons medical records. So the lady in charge of the record came back in seconds now! I never got an apology from any of them. I never received a phone call to explain me what happened! Doc Khokar never called me once he is too busy by making people overpay his consultations. I ask them multiple times I need to talk to the doctor. All this situation was very unfair to my son, unprofessionally handled. They made me suffer good two weeks I cried a lot for my son. I went back and forth to there office nothing happened they were all deaf! I hate that place I can stand doc Khokars name. I fell my blood boiling when I return to my son's eye appointments every 3 months. He is now 5 years old. He is not able to see a 3D picture/ movie. He is still on the vision therapy. There is still a lot of work to do and I am very hopeful and positif with Doc Faheem!

Pure insurance scam clinic. I was asked for dialation and some testing when i was there for eye exam only. They just want to get max insurance payments. Will Never go here again!

This is a first rate doctor who takes time with patients and genuinely cares that his patient's get the best of care. I can't speak for anyone else, but my children and mother have been under his medical care, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had seen many Lasik surgeon in Dallas but was not comfortable with any of them. My sister-in-law has spoken with my wife about Dr. Khokhar and told me to see him. She was right. Sugarland Eye & Laser Center gave me the right vibes and gave me 20/20 vision. I drove back to Dallas about 24 hours after my laser eye surgery.

My Doctor was Dr. Megan Heany, and she was exceptional. She was professional, quick, and knowledgeable. A definite repeat, they have earned my business!
