Amy's Ice Creams reviews
14Always a great experience. You can’t order a mix in with the tiny, but other than that, this place cannot be beat. I had the sweet cream waffle cone with strawberry mixed in. I keep trying to order something new, but I just can’t! They do let you try lots of samples, which is nice.
First time I came to this location I was picking up an order for Doordash. I needed a little pick me up to stay focused. The store manager was so professional, kind, respectful, and outstanding. He understood what it was like running doordash he blessed me with a free delicious coffee smoothie with an extra shot of Expresso. He only asked that I pay it forward. He set the bar for businesses big or small for customer service. I absolutely will return with friends and family to support this location.
They often change their flavors and sometimes have seasonal themes, which are my favorite! Overall a good spot
Never again. Don’t place orders for pickup. Pick up times are ignored. They do not prepare them until you get here. Then you have to wait in a line that stretches down the sidewalk outside the store. Waited over an hour for ice cream.
Goodbye Amy’s.
An absolute staple for anyone living in or visiting Austin, Amy's ice cream is always perfect. The arboretum location has the added bonus of the Giant marble cows for the kids to climb on afterwards.
Just had a super sweet experience ordering off grub hub. They didn’t have what I selected, the driver called and put me on with them, I told them to just make whatever was good with a similar vibe. My ice cream arrived with a sweet note and explanation of what they made, and included some hot fudge! And they were both absolutely in the vein of what I ordered. Made my night for strangers to be so thoughtful, thanks to whomever was working!
Amy’s is our go to place for dessert. We love it here, and the staff is typically friendly and welcoming. This evening we went for a late night treat after a movie and the guy working looked miserable. He rolled his eyes when customers came in the door, and he refused the give us a sample because they were closing soon. I have seen him refuse samples once before and his excuse was he couldn’t give samples when there was a line. We were so excited to try a new flavor and were met with disappointment. We will be taking our business elsewhere. There is a friendly and welcoming staff at the new ice cream place, Jeni’s, in the domain. I advise everyone to take their business elsewhere. I feel so sorry for the girl working with him. He had such a terrible attitude.
(I was here January 6th and 3 pm) And dropped my debit card and went to go look in my car and he brought me my ice cream and debit card and told me not to worry about. Super super kind dont know his name but thanks so much! And the other day a customer and paid ahead for my ice cream so it was free. Literally great experiences always all so kind
Love the Nitro frappe and while you're there pick up the smores kit and hot chocolate with Mexican marshmallows. Great gift ideas my family all loved them!
“KICK ASS” customer service.
I went to another Amy’s location first and was overlooked. Maybe because I was wearing camouflage pants. I wound up leaving. I then drove to the Arboretum Amy’s. I was treated very nicely by both employees. I ordered a pint; & was given a sampling for the road. I didn’t tell him about my previous experience until after he gave me the sampling. I didn’t expect such kindness.
The location is very nice. Belgian chocolate shake is amazing. Ice cream is good but they don’t break the toppings while mixing with the ice cream so doesn’t feel good while eating hard toppings like chocolate chips.
Please update your hours here. Have tried going there twice on fridays and couldn’t find it open by 10. Closing time mentioned here is 12.
I order brownies ice cream, brownie was to hard I was not able to break it using plastic spoon
Came in right before closing and they still treated with us respect and did not rush us at all. Really appreciate the great service that we received from Marcell!
