Extremely helpful staff! Rented a beach house for the weekend, had a few too many guests and not enough beds. This hotel was four minutes away from us. Online it looked like it was closed but an extremely helpful worker answered the phone and got me a room anyway! Very grateful for their help and the price!

Sept 8 around 8: 30 or 9 pm I pulled up to anchor motel with my boyfriend and we were waiting outside for my grandmother and this lady Her name was Rebecca she was shouting down at us from the top balcony asking us what we are doing there and who we were waiting for and me and my boyfriend were confused? And it just freaked us out because she seemed rude about it and even then why was she asking us anything at all?

Stayed half a night completely based on location. The owner was super nice and cool. The manager though…lol she definitely has a kid named Kyle. ;)

I ended up not staying here. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind, I felt bad leaving. The rooms were just too run down for me.

Not a fancy motel but room was very clean customer service excellent owner very nice
when they clean the rooms must be a party people gather and talk and cuss very loudly we couldn’t take a shower the water smelled really bad when we turned it on.a little confused about the key deposit left very early so left a vm, also texted with the manager so i know they got the keys back but we didn’t get no deposit back

Stayed 1night. It’s not a resort. It’s a place to stay, shower and cool off while you play at the beach and it’s priced as such. Beds were comfy. Showers were hot. No bugs! Great location. The stairs were hard for me having stage 4 cancer but other than that no complaints. We left something valuable in the room and it was returned to us. Great staff. Thanks again!

The location was amazing, right in front of the beach, with a taco truck right next to the motel, but i do have to say the rooms aren't very clean, the water smells bad when showering, some cracks on the wall and mold. You need to make a $20 deposit but don't expect to get it back unless you tell them the exact time you will be leaving because they are no where to be found in the building.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I booked TWO WEEKS ago for 2 nights and they called THE NIGHT BEFORE and said that they actually didn't have room for us and they canceled our stay. Absolutely ridiculous. Very disappointed. If I would've known 2 weeks ago that they were gonna cancel, maybe we could've found somewhere to stay but because they decided to tell us the night before.we have no where to stay anymore.

The staff was great. But. No smoke detector in room, exposed wires, trash under the beds. Kitchenette does not provide a coffee maker. Great location, though!

The photos will speak for themselves but this place is terrible. The room appeared to be under construction so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't complain, but after reading previous reviews, they have been this way for quite some time. Apparently there is no intention on fixing the problems. Asked for clean towels and washcloths daily. Could never get any. Owner kept telling us to Ask Sarah. When we asked where she was she was either taking a nap or not on the property. His excuse for no clean linens was they just got a new washer 2 weeks ago. Asked for clean sheets and for the room to be cleaned mid stay and that never occurred. This place is in shambles and needs to be shut down or have the health department get involved.

Affordable compared to the surrounding hotels. Pros: Comfortable bed, great showers, central location.
Cons: Small AC may need to bring a fan. Not enough places to store and hang clothes. Not enough power outlets.

Love this place. Edit. Absolutely make sure you don't leave anything on the beach, I set up my tent at 6: 30 in the morning and at 830 am it was gone. Only to find out the maintenance man had stolen it.

The Good: really friendly and helpful owner and new manger, location and access to the beach was convenient, price was cheap and place is dog friendly.

The not so good: it’s a $75/night close the beach…you get exactly what you pay for…a climate controlled place to sleep and shower. If your dogs are reactive to other dogs barking, people talking, then just be prepared to spend half the night keeping them quite as the walls are rather thin.

The side closest to the road stays rather busy all night with road traffic.

I think the owners are trying to make some upgrades and improvements but still have a bit to go.

Look it's 300 ft from the beach. The beds are clean everything works And it's affordable. Support a local business. Also Doug and the rest of the staff are great. They also offer late check out!

Ask for Doug, amazing hospitality and great location for price. Like 20 feet from the beach with its own entrance. Very private and nice neighbors!

I absolutely LOVED staying here! I forgot to bring a coffee pot and the manager let me borrow a Keurig coffee pot. This place is pet friendly. We will definitely be back!

Stayed for 2 days and the management was awesome! Changed our room for a better view of the beach! Rooms were clean and cozy with refrigerator, stove, microwave and plenty of hot water. Pet-friendly environment and a short walk to beach. And the prices were excellent! Will most definitely be a return customer!
