Very intelligent, compassionate, and strict.
He is very concerned for your health and well-being and he listens to you. I started with Dr. Segal a long time ago and I attribute his being knowledgeable as well as compassionate for saving my life. My heart health and blood pressure have been stable for many years now without the many complications others have. Yes, He insists that you follow his instructions, bring medications to appt, and do your B/P checks from home. He took me as a patient when another specialist I was seeing refused to refill my meds as my blood pressure was out of control even then and I have never looked back. Today though I have a PCP he is my cardiologist and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I wasted years with a cardiologist who was not taking care of me properly. The result is now, heart failure and Afib. A dr that i was seeing was really doing nothing. He left the Huguley practice, so i started seeing a new Dr. The new Dr changed all of my meds, after i told him that i didn’t feel safe doing that. Within a month, i was in the ER, in AFIB.after i left the hospital i immediately started looking for another Dr. My boss referred me to Dr. Segal. They got me right in. Dr Segal and his staff are incredible. Dr Segal studies your whole health and addresses all issues. And yes, of course he does not agree with smoking and drinking, he’s trying to save lives. The whole office does things old school. They are not going to tip toe around the issues. You will always be there for two hours, at least. He does not just fill a prescription and take his copay. He actually does his job. You have to follow his directions or you will not improve. Him and his staff are experienced and knowledgeable. Seama and Freda are friendly and welcoming. They do an EKG every time I go in. I honestly believe that Dr. Segal saved my life. My AFIB is being managed and my blood pressure is lower than it’s ever been. Highly recommend.

Dr Segal is very thorough and goes the extra mile for his patients. He interacts with the patients other doctors to make sure everyone has all the information needed to provide the best care possible.
