Really happy I found these guys, I purchased a vintage guitar with some noticeable scratches on the body. The guys at Andrews (even though they stated they don’t often work on guitars) we’re able to rejuvenate and bring it back to life, going above and beyond my expectations. Easy to work with, and quality craftsmanship, will be returning soon.

Stay away from these guys. They don’t do what was initially agreed to yet they will still expect to be paid handsomely for their screw up. Additionally, even though they know they screwed up and offer to discount the work by a little they will force you to sign a “no blame” form that states you accept the work “as is” or the owner will refuse to release your property even though they were given a credit card for payment. They’re a scam of a company. I should have known once I realized their last favorable review was years ago when the parents owned the shop and apparently had integrity and pride in what they did. The new owner (son) does not. Long story short…my daughter took a dresser in to this shop to have it refinished and have the pulls and slides replaced. This is a dresser that I built her about two months after she was born so it has a lot of sentimental value. When they called her to go pick it up she asked if all had been done. She quickly learned the the pulls and slides had not been replaced as had been previously agreed upon. They merely painted it and even worse, failed to properly prepare the wood prior to doing so. All dings and minor marks should have either been filled or feathered out but these low level people merely applied paint and so the marks still show through. The wood is pine so it is somewhat soft but it is what I could afford as a junior enlisted member in the US Army almost 30 years ago. Over the years of moving around the world with the military it suffered a few “love” marks but they were easily and quickly repairable. However, these guys couldn’t even take the additional few minutes to do so as any professional would have but there in lies the truth. They are obviously not professionals but scammers that will hold your furniture hostage unless you sign a form that forces you to lie, otherwise the owner will not let you pick up your property until you do, even when payment has been rendered. He also lies to look better but that’s to be expected of a person with such a low moral compass. Stay away! Avoid the headache and go elsewhere. You’ll be happy you did.

Andrews Refinishing applied new stain to our kitchen table, which now looks brand new; it is more beautiful than the original! Dominick and Dillon did an excellent job with pick up and a one week early delivery. They are highly recommended!

Beware, if you are unsatisfied with your product, the owner of this establishment will force you to sign a form saying you are happy with the quality of his work. If you don't sign the form, he'll tell you, "You can get a lawyer, or I'll keep your furniture. " This, after you've paid your bill in full.

Our home flooded last December and Simon from Andrew’s Refinishing came out to see what pieces of furniture they could restore. Simon and his team delivered our furniture last week and everything looked almost new. Very happy with the finished product and Andrew’s was very professional to work with from start to finish. I will be using them in the future again if needed.

They did such an amazing job on our hutch that’s been in our family for over 60 years. They were incredibly kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to bring it back to life. Not to mention helping me bring my spunky puppy back inside the house after a quick get away. I cannot recommend them enough!

Andrews restored a 100 year old cedar chest owned by my husbands grandmother. It still has the original moth proof warranty attached to the inside. The chest will now be ready for quilts, blankets, sweaters, toys…for another 100 years. We highly recommend Andrews especially their attention to detail and customer service.

What a wonderful transformation. Allen listened to what I was looking for to refresh my late grandmother's mid-century couch (that was last re-upholstered orange in the 70's) and the end product is stunning! Highly recommend Andrew's Refinishing.

A dresser in one of our bedrooms was accidentally burned. Andrew's Refinishing gave us a very fair price. Returned this morning. Burn spot invisible. Highly recommend

Had a Stickley sofa reupholstered approximately 5 yrs, ago and do not like the outcome. They don't understand the extreme importance of tension on very firmly woven fabric for this type of furniture. Our sofa seat ripples and the fabric is pilling. It looks very amateur.

Andrew’s refinished 3 chairs, 2 bench seats, and a large cedar chest for me. The pieces originally belonged to my Grandmother. One chair even dates back to the 1950s. Andrew’s returned them to their original glory! They did an amazing job from start to finish. From design (Allen is amazing!), to pick up and delivery, to their craftsmanship. They truly did an amazing job. I highly recommend them!

Thank you so much for the amazing job with my great grandmother’s dresser. It went through heck after being left out on a family friends porch for lord know how long. And now we are able to reclaim it and use it with love and fond memory!

They’re “craftsmanship” is lazy and pretty much every piece is painted as dark as they can get it so they can try to hide all their mess ups. Does not take accountability always someone to blame. Never their fault. It’s always “that’s because or buttttt”. 1 star bruv.

I requested my antique cedar chest be repaired and restored but although they did a great job with broken lid repair and shined it up to a beautiful finished they removed the hinges to do the job. One hinge was broken so they didnt put either back on. And it was not cheap. I will not use them again.

UPDATE
First off…, I appreciate that the company monitors their reviews and tries to work with the customers.
Second …I should have mentioned that I was told restoration would take about 3 months. I could have it repaired in a couple weeks but they were booked out for restorations.
Third…. I thought the price was high but I forgot about pick up and delivery.

The company called me to follow up on my review and had me explain my issues. They then explained why my hinges were not put back on.since one was broken and the other being old style could not be replaced. For the functioning of the chest, one hinge is worse than none. As for the price, a lot was for pick up and delivery.

So I have changed my stars to 4. Not 5. Because I wish they would have called about the hinges so I could have worked something out about new hinges.
