Andy's Frozen Custard reviews
19Loved this place and liked the BootDaddy custard. The ice cream is good, soft and you feel light even after finishing a cup. Definitely one of the go-to place for ice cream’s.
As a rule, I just love Andy's Frozen Custard. They have such a wide variety of options. I would recommend checking it out if you're in the area.
The Best Custard BUT WHAT A MESS! NO ONE KNOWS how to direct traffic or tell the new customers driving in where to Go BUt lots of SAZ from the person who took my order as he Made Fun of the situation w the car behind! CHAOS 100 %
I urge y'all to come and visit this place during this helluva hot summer of Texas! My doctor is highly against this but it's so good and so refreshing to cure the heat. Bring the doggos here too!
Pull your workers out of the heat! Our poor girl was grumpy af out there and we didn’t even have a chance to look at the menu before she had to take our order. Custard was good tho.
Love Andy's!
This location has everything you'd expect from Andy's - all the flavors and topings.
However, it gets crowed in here in the evening - Frisco loved Andy's too:)
Waited after we placed our order for 30 minutes. Poor girl at the register had to make the order herself after she yelled the order back 2 times and no one made it.
Great place for custard and shakes! Family friendly. However there is only outdoor seating. On the bright side there are restrooms and they're CLEAN!
This was the first time I visited! Loved the catchy commercial " where'd you get that grin, just above your chin" or something like that! Got a small chocolate malt, nom nom!
On a side note: Who ever owns this place, the poor girl taking orders was made to stand outside in the hot sun (it's 100+ degrees out.) Get your employees some shade, maybe a fan as well! Put yourself in her position, would you want to do that?
First of all, they need to come up with better traffic solution. The cars were wrapped around the building blocking the parking lot so it was so hard to park my car. My son ordered a medium concrete, but he got the small size instead. He told the cashier and she said he can keep that one. We thought they were going to make a new one for him so we waited for awhile but never got it. He asked the cashier where his concrete is then she told him she has to charge him again for upgrade. She messed up his order, she never apologized, and now she's trying to charge him for something that she messed up. The cashier also messed up the order who were in front of us so I think they need to train their employees better.
Extremely disappointed. Came to Andy’s around 7pm on a weeknight and was harassed by another customer that wasn’t even in the correct car line to “have manners and let [her] pass through” even though I was the one waiting in line and she wasn’t. There were no employees to direct traffic outside or to guide this woman to the line. I like Andy’s custard, but I will not be returning until this traffic issue is resolved. After leaving the line to go elsewhere for dessert, I called the store to let them know there was a woman harassing people outside, attempting to get served before others waiting in line; their response was that they could not do anything about what was going on between customers. My family and I will not be returning.
First time trying Frozen custard ice cream. It's worth trying and tasting. Had a amazing texture and taste. I have always seen the busy drive-thru, but mostly would pass thinking custard would have a eggy taste, but I was so so wrong. The triple chocolate concrete was beyond amazing and tasty. I loved it so much. The drive-thru is always busy, but it kept moving. It hardly take not more than 10 minutes. There was a person who takes your order in prior, then you reach the delivery counter to pick your order.
While reaching the delivery counter, be sure to hand over your card first or they will not hand you over what you ordered, I am not sure if that was done on purpose it was really strange as I never been treated so indifferently elsewhere.
Finally, the rating part
For taste, obviously it is 5 stars, for location it is 5 stars, for service it is surely 2 stars. May be the delivery counter person hopefully didn't do it on purpose.
Delightful flavours and multiple options to choose from in various sizes.so convenient as they have the drive through option. We tried the banana split with frozen vanilla custard topped with pecans and cherries
Today, Mother’s Day, my car started smoking while I was in line at Andy’s. It was 95 degrees, they were so busy, but several young men took the time to push my car into the vacant lot until my son and AAA could get there. Be very proud, Mothers of these young men!
I almost forgot to take pictures, this custard was good. I tried a bite of my husband's vanilla custard and it is good, mine was triple chocolate and that was good. Very creamy, they work fast regardless of the lines.
God it's so expensive but it's so worth it. Vanilla custard + pretzels + Oreos + raspberries. Don't knock it till you try it. Also watching chocolate custard machine funny haha
Carolyn's Review.
I have to be honest. I wasn't really that impressed. Not to mention, the young lady taking our order on the tablet, was extremely rude to me. All I asked was a simple question. Her response was, "Look, I dont know. I literally just work here! ". And my mouth hit the floor. I couldn't believe it. Then, when I got to the window to pay for my order. I asked if I could please have some extra pecans. I ordered butter pecan ice cream. So the lady inside asked the cashier, or she says, "ITS BUTTERED PECAN! ". So the cashier, confused, asks me if I wanted double pecans. I said to him. Well I just wanted a few extra please, ". So he gave me a small cup of pecans to go with my custard. I don't know what their problem was the other night. But I will never go back. It was just mean. My goodness. And I never hardly EVER give bad reviews. It's just too much negativity. So I apologize. But I gotta be honest with y'all. So DONT CHECK IT OUT. LOL
A reminder of why I stopped come here, yesterday I spent $16 for a father to take his 7yr and 5yr old for ice cream. You got to be kidding me!
They made me a concrete with only heath in it! They ran out of everything in it but still made it for us. Will not be coming back to this location!
