Andy's Frozen Custard reviews
17I would never have stopped because of the word custard, but I'm so glad that I went there. For me, I like the oowe goowe and it's delicious, I will try other flavors later but I think that everyone should go.
I love this location the management is awesome and the custard is always perfect! My dog also loves the sample cones
Can't have enough of it. They never disappoint. I have tried the splits and shakes. Triple chocolate is my favorite. They stay open until late and that's the best thing I like about them.
Ice cream is great. Just need to make it a tad bit cheaper. They are already making millions from everyone, reduce by a dollar at minimum. Toppings need to be cheaper as well.
What a creamy and delicious experience.
This was my first time at a Andy’s and it was fantastic,
I went through the drive through but it looked spacious and clean inside. Lots of parking. The young man taking my order was helpful as it was my first time and I was deciding what to try first.
We went with the Oreo and strawberry milkshake, what a great combo! And a caramel peanut custard. Supers delicious and hit all the right notes. What a treat! Thanks
Five stars, overall. My review is mainly on the company's design choices:
PROS:
- nostalgic, cheerful, bright mid century building
- wide open patio, safe from cars, not "hostile architecture"
CONS:
- popular, frequent long lines
- #1 complaint - needs more benches
Man I love Andy’s frozen custard. Super smooth and delicious! I hadn’t had Andy’s in ages- I used to live near a location in IL. This was such a treat! My go-to order is a James Brownie Jackhammer. SO GOOD! Don’t question it- just go! Enjoy!
Great location with best crew, I drove there almost at closing time and they managed to serve without any hesitance, kudos to all employees working here
Great place, the custard here is so great, I always want to get a second one. They even have dog friendly cones and custard.
If you want to pay $7 for a small and get 60% of your cup filled, you have come to the right place. 60% every time. Must be in the training because it’s happened 8/8 times I’ve been to this location. Fill to at least 90% or charge $4
Great for frozen custard favorites and family hang out! Large patio area to stand around and catch up with friends while enjoying dessert! Drive thru is fast as well if you need an on-the-go option!
Amazing customer service! Trenton Graves is the manager over there, and he is the sweetest! 13/10
Soft serve icecream at its best. Very generous portions (a small is a normal large) and loads of toppings!
Service is insanely slow. Twice now I have had to leave the line after 15 mins because of how incredibly slow it is and there were only a few cars in front of me. I love the custard and I am happy it is closer to home but there has to be improvement with the wait.
Updated. Last time only the family had something. The summertime keylime is some love in a cup!
The folks working here are friendly, and helpful. Many are teens, but we all had to start somewhere. We have had an occasional "trainee" and have not had bad service. Our experience has been great, even with a tree nut allergy in the family. Please note, THERE ARE ALLERGENS PRESENT - so please take your own precautions by having an epi pen, as we do regardless, of something being made "special" as no system is fool proof. We have found their flavors to be tasty. If you sign up for their app, they will send specials, along with a point system to earn free items. They get busy during the evening, and on weekends, but we have only seen the line for the drive-thru, due to the allergy, we go to the walk-up window. One of the best deals is getting quarts to go. They do sometimes run out of these. They put the carton into a thicker paper bag, but we will bring a small ice pack and cooler to keep it colder getting it back to a freezer.
This is one of my favorite locations everybody that works here is super nice. The store manager found out that I'm 7 months pregnant and gifted my home menu for free. I cannot believe that happened to me please come and check this location out and please give it some love
