This firm deserves a NEGATIVE 4. They are SO attentive to me with intake then they took my retainer $3500. Then took mycredit card to withdraw $1500 per month. And then said it would not be a long process. In 3 months this was used up. This is what I received delaid call back, emails get answered every 3 weeks, 3 helpers checking the courts if anything was filed "case review"
attorneys disputing what you advise them to do. The case was handed off to 3 attorneys due to the attorneys quit I was told. Each attorney had a different approach and I had to send all docs and explain all over again. I was charged for that too. After the 3rd attorney and 6k that I had paid they say that I needed a credit card on file to pull out $1500 or they would drop the case. Our family was so emotionally broken when we came for help to get my grandson visitation enforced! Yes that was all we wanted!
Easy! These are only a few things that we experience. Almost 9 months and there was only 1 written document to the court for enforcement but never filed at a rate of $525. I did communicate my concerns to the "Happy Coordinator" I was told she would give me an answer the following week but it turned into 3 weeks.

All I have to say is RUN. Fast! Do not make the mistake I did of hiring this firm. They're rude, especially if you're not familiar with legal jargon. They did not walk me through the paperwork. They don't communicate, you have to reach out to them for information on the work being done on the case, and the meaning of certain documents. When I reached out to get details on the work they were doing and what direction we were going with the case, they reply late and they sent me an expensive bill every single email including the ones they sent. I even got billed when I asked for a link to the zoom mediation literally the day prior. They didn't give me an email or anything that the meditation wad supposed to be the next day I had to ask my ex for information and that's how I found out. I finally fired them months ago and I'm literally still being billed for the so called work they've done.and their excuse is "well you signed a contract". I made the incredibly ignorant mistake of trying to support a black business because I thought they would have my best interest. I have learned support the BEST business, as in the business that has your best interest regardless of the owners race/ background.

Mrs.angela was a god sent angel she helped me when it felt like no one else would she fought for my kids and me and I got my babies back and she never stoped caring!

This is an update to my last experience. I emailed to make another appointment, which took over 2 months to receive any response. When I did receive a response I was given specific pricing information. I tried to schedule based on that information, given to me by Natalie. In subsequent phone conversations Natalie forgot about this pricing. When I emailed her with the attachment of her own quote, she told me that offer was no longer available. The end of it is this firm does not hold to their own word. I am glad I was not in any other form committed to their work.

I did not have a good experience with this firm. Their billing department is horrible. On top of holding my $3500 retainer and billing me each week for services, they kept asking me to put more on my retainer. They then charged me a service that was meant for another client. And they forgot to pay their own invoices, even though my card was on file, so instead they combined the missed payments in one lump sum.

My attorney was Lisa Brown and I don’t feel she provided the best advice. I spent over 3k drafting documents for court and we never went to court. I was later told the court was not getting back to them and the process usually doesn’t take this long. I was also asked to sign docs to draft a default and was never told it wasn’t filed. When I called to check, they didn’t know they had to wait 60 days before filling. As my attorney I would expect you to already know that. So I basically paid to draft a doc I couldn’t use.

They also weren’t responsive enough for me. 2 days before my hearing I was still confused on whether we were even going to court or not. I kept having to contact them to find out what is going on. It’s just not what I expected.

Angela guided us through the initial consultation with respect and an occasional welcomed laugh. The legal system is overwhelming to me; a terrifying haunted space with no escape. Angela quelled my fears and imbibed confidence into my plan of action, giving recognition to all parties involved and possible outcomes. I genuinely recommend her.

Extremely professional and will definitely tell you the facts versus what you want to hear! She listened to what the issue at hand was and didn’t rush us through the call. Will definitely reach out to her for future services!
