Angela's Cafe, Dallas TX

I was born/raised in this area but had never eaten here before. It's just ok, I wouldn't rush back by any means. Just very basic home cooking, but cheap.

This joint needs a good overhaul! It's one of those restaurants that you see on TV shows where the owner has given up. There is too much stuff sitting around everywhere.so how can they clean? I can't imagine how the kitchen looks.

Thankfully (or not) I ordered to-go. A patty melt with tots. The sandwich had decent flavor but was really dry, and the tots were just okay.

Will definitely NOT be coming here again!

Very bad customer service they told me to sit anywhere and they keep taking the orders the people they came after me the dinner is very old and ugly

This place is EVERYTHING! Great food, good prices. Reminds me of a Bfast joint spot since I grew up in Scottsdale.

We love Angela's and eat there often. However, we started noticing our checks seemed a little high. We didnt really question it at first. We did note the item prices were not listed on the initial check. We added up what we had, and we had been overcharged by $12. One time is no big deal. Even the second time is forgivable, but 3 times? Something isnt right

Wouldn't recommend going on a Sunday very busy, food ok, should have ordered breakfast i heard it's the bomb! Will go back give it another shot

Stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was seated and served in this family run restaurant. I could tell from overhearing the conversations that they had contingent of regulars, which I take to be a good thing. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese taco breakfast with hashbrowns. Bacon was nice and crispy, salsa had a good flavor and was not too spicy. Hashbrowns were crispy. Prices were great. They had daily specials. I'd recommend.

From ATX came here bc of the amazing reviews & food was DELICIOUS! Can’t complain my entire family ate good!
Although my cup of coffee wasn’t cleaned, had a lipstick stain.
There was also an employee lady giving an elderly couple attitude, he was kind to the employees, asked about their morning. He asked for some things she replied “yes” & kept walking off. (She had in her hands the napkins, silverware) that he asked for.

Served raw pork, cooked on one side, was taken back to grill after having been hand touched along a side hash browns and eggs. Later served again to me on same plate with the same cold hash downs and eggs. Server comes and tells me they chef cooked them a little more, she was truthful and honest. Manager then comes by and says they were new and one of her staff is eating them. One of them is lying and it’s the manager. Completely unsanitary, board of health should evaluate this place. Charged full amount and gave server 30% tip as she deserves it and was great. The restaurant, however, deserves negative stars.

Quaint casual spot for breakfast or lunch. Best diner breakfast I have had in a long time. Food was seasoned well.

Nice place for breakfast. Our waitress Jessica was attentive and the food was prepared well. Reasonable price for a lot of food. I will definitely be back again soon. I recommend Angela's Cafe.

The restaurant is not as good as the reviews. The speed of the kitch and food was great. Service was very lacking and dirty. Upon arrival, every server was was eating and seems disturbed we walked in. Even while paying the cashier was eating at the pay station and was annoyed we were trying to leave. Never saw hand washing after eating and before serving customer's food. Very unsanitary and will not return. Unfortunate the cooks performance was good, but the front of the hous was lacking.

Great breakfast! The Angela's breakfast special was outstanding and a very satisfying meal. Two eggs any way you like (poached for me), hash browns, 2 thick sliced crispy bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of ham, and 2 buttermilk pancakes for $10. The bacon and pancakes were some of the best I've ever eaten.

Sundays are busy very cause of church like to sit close walk with walker Durning wk it does not matter my regular waitress are nice very helpful you know who you are. You all deserve a raise

I love Angela’s cafe. The Mexican Omelette is fantastic! If you like breakfast all day plus lots of other lunch and dinner options you’ll like Angela’s too. Give ‘em a try. You’ll be back if you do.

If you're looking for the quintessential hole-in-the-wall with home cooking, this is your place. Good variety on the menu. Very reasonably priced. Breakfast served any time. Not sure the rustic touches inside are intentional, but the place was one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in. I got the veggie omelette that comes with hashbrowns and choice of bread. I also got a slice of chocolate pie to go - all very good and all for under $15. Definitely looking forward to going back to try other items.
