Angkor Tire & Auto reviews
13The only mechanic I trust in Austin, Randy and the rest of the team will treat you like family and make sure your car is in the best condition for the best price!
Lived in Austin for 20 years. These are the best mechanics I've ever worked with. They are very willing, kind, professional, and thorough. They take their time but they do it right, and they go above and beyond. 100% recommend!
Randy and his crew did an amazing job repairing my vehicle! My motor mounts broke and were in desperate need of being replaced. Everybody was very respectful and professional. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing their car serviced! Great job!
Employees are great & honest but the owner is a complete crook who will try to take your money for nothing. Just wanted to get my lug nuts retorqued (most auto shops do it for free), which I explained to him, and he tried to sell me on rebalancing my brand new & perfectly fine tires, the guy working there even outright said they were completely fine and that the lug nuts were just loose. Ended up paying him $30 for "electricity bill" due to them having to lift my car for 10 minutes. What a joke. Save your money and go somewhere with an owner who wont outright lie to you about non-existent issues.
I stopped by and Babytwo was very knowledgeable and helpful so I definitely will be back for some work on my Jeep in the future. Thanks man! You earned a new customer.
Came in with a nail in my tire, was in and out in 20 mins and it only cost $30
The man who helped was so nice
This company is excellent. I came here to replace the front breaks of my car, and Randy was really helpful to me and took care of me in every way possible. I am recommending this shop to my friends and family. I left with my brakes good as new!
This man is the master! Don’t disrespect him! He is the master! If he doesn’t know, he will know! He’s the only man I let touch my car! Everyone else will try to take very peenny from you! All he wants is to help you and give you the best price! He is the master!
I always have a great experience coming to Angkor Tire and Auto. Randy always explains what needs to be fixed and give a very fair price. I am grateful for his time and expertise!
Really great service at a reasonable price! Kind mechanic who explains what he is doing and how much it will be right off the bat. Also doesn’t try to up-charge like other places. Quick service too, I was expecting to have to drop off my car and leave it for a couple of days but he was able to get it done same day
Amazing, trustworthy service. Randy is very competent and looks out for me and my car anytime I come in. It’s effortless on my end! I’ll be recommending him to my friends.
Want REAL SERVICE from a team that will not make things up? Go the Vannry at Angkor Tire&Auto. A consummate gentleman, a former General who’s seen more life than 10 of us and his humanity shines through in how he speaks and treats everyone.
We had thermostat problems on a weekend trip to Austin and needed an emergency repair on a Saturday afternoon so that we could return home Sunday. Angkor took it in immediately and replaced the thermostat and sensor in less than 2 hours. We made our 4 hour drive home safely on Sunday.
