They were super great for helping me stay within budget!

4 stars because it's felt like there was some judgement, but otherwise would recommend.

I had to board my 4 dogs pretty last minute and they were very accommodating!
One of my dogs was boarded separately at my request due to his size. My other 3 small dogs boarded together. One of them has fear aggression that has become worse. He sometimes bites at home.
I explained this ahead of time and that if he needed to be separated that was okay too.
They said he did really well, and his demeanor on pick up showed he and the others had a great time!
I would consider this to be a more “traditional” kennel versus a “pet hotel”. I wanted to board them in this setting because I think it is important for dogs to have the structure of breaks and not being in a room with 20 other dogs all day.
I am really pleased with the choice to board here and would do it again.

They were absolutely fantastic in helping us with saying goodbye to our oldest, first pup (not a pup anymore, but you might get the idea). They accommodated our schedule and were genuinely empathetic and sympathetic for us, who were sort of a tearful, snot-nosed mess throughout the process. The process, incidentally, was seamless, professional and considerate. They can coordinate the handling/returning of ashes and paw prints and stuff, too. We're going to start taking the rest of our little zoo there for all of our veterinary needs. 100% give them a try and you won't regret it. I think I uploaded a picture of our ol' girl Elphie with cheese from a burger on her nose that we got on the way there for her happy final day.

The people of animal medical of salado are great. Anytime I’ve called to ask a question it feels like they genuinely care. And when I have taken my dog for appointments here. The care has been great.

Really great place! Vet care, boarding and grooming. GREAT PRICES and my dog is calmer after visiting here than the last place.

This place needs better management! Use to work there a long time ago! I have heard about a lot of stuff going on there by family and friends that used to go there. There alot of rudeness, favorites and that the owner doesn't really want to be working past 12pm or the employee don't want to care for the animals during the holidays. I feel like specialist need to go and have a look and spend about week there and monitor they're working and the way they present themselves.

Very friendly, hospitable, and pleasant. When our vet was unable to see us due to short staff and being busy, they were more than willing to see us. If we ever decide to change vets, we will definitely look at coming here.

Worse place to take your animal. The place looked like a shack. In fact I thought I was at the wrong place.
I called to make the appointment a week before and explained to them I just wanted an ultrasound to determine pregnancy of my dog. They made the appt for that. When we arrived I told them I wanted to add a nail trim to the ultrasound. They agreed They took my dog back to get the ultrasound then nail trim. The vet came back with her and said " she is not pregnant, "Yay" Evidently this veterinarian does not like when dogs are bred. (Not breeder friendly) I informed them that if it wasn't for the person who bred my dogs mom that they would not have got this nice Lil payday. She made sure that she told me how awful my dog acted to them. She's a French bulldog.and is attached to her family, and was not fond of Santos. Santos seemed as If she took this personal. They then charged me over 70 dollars more than what I was quoted for a week before. I noticed this after she took my card and charged it. When they handed me the bill I was angry. Asked what the heck did they do. Claimed they did an exam. They did no such thing, at least not in front of me. I left because I new they were absolutely wrong! I then called my bank and submitted a claim. I won and got the "exam" money back. I write this for the next customer they decide to scam out of their hard working money. A week later they sent me mail. I wrote return to sender. They were payed for the service they provided, nothing more or less. There was no reason for this place to send mail.

Beware: this veterinarian clinic scams people.
