Anna P. Damian, MD - St. Joseph Health Primary Care Bryan

Tried to make an appt for my son for possible strep throat and was told they could not see him due to being sick. I have to establish him as a patient first when healthy, then they can see him. Am I missing something here? As a doctor, the reason patients call you is when they are sick. Avoid this place…

Receptionist was horribly rude and spoke heatedly to my fiancé's mother when she called to schedule him an appointment while he was busy. When she began to get upset in response, she was transferred to another receptionist and had no further problems. The next morning however my fiancé was called, by Dr. Anna Damian herself and was lied to about the extent of his mother's interaction. He was told that she she had yelled and cussed out the first receptionist and as a result she was terminating his treatment. It is more than likely that the receptionist lied about the nature of interaction to garner pity or attention. If Dr. Damian had cared at all she could have investigated the phone call and listened to the recording, as medical lines are recorded for quality assurance. Instead she terminated treatment of a patient who was in the middle of a medical health crisis for an interaction that was incorrectly reported, and not even made by the patient themselves. Horrible patient customer service. From the other comments listed on this site, I can tell that receptionist rudeness is not uncommon at this clinic. Do yourself a favor and find another.

Mrs. Damian is the most Amazing compassionate Dr. I have ever met she’s been my Doc. Since I was 13yrs old and delivered all four of my kids. The Nurses and staff are very nice and helpful. Prompt on giving calls back when you leave a message. Glad I have Mrs. Damian as my MD.

Not sure if I've ever left a review yet for the best Doctor I've ever encountered, but Dr. Anna Damian is hands down the best OB-GYN. She delivered all of my babies who are now 2,5 and 7.including my son who was stillborn at 21 weeks and was there for every miscarriage in between. She is a God-send. Her Csection work is impeccable and she was an amazing Doctor. I was so sad to have moved to another city and came to find out that she no longer does labor and delivery anymore.but if you're searching for a great, trusting, truly caring Doctor, go to her! You'll have to look past her front office staff some of the time, but she herself is amazing!

Love Dr. Damian. I think it is dumb to close the office for lunch. Inefficient.
