Antojitos Lupita, Dallas TX

I found this little place while staying at a Air B N B on 12th street in Dallas. The people were kind and Cooke my food to order which was delicious and hot If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely go again.

Great place for pupusas and bistec a la mexicana. Both plates with original country flavor.

I would give this play 10/10 if I could. Very friendly staff make you feel like home. Has an old people house type smell when you walk in. Only complaint.

Food was great and the horchata and hibiscus drinks were perfect. Prices are very reasonable. They serve Salvadoran and Mexican food both are great.

Best papusas I have ever had. I wish I had taken a photo to post but they are all gone. I have eaten hundreds across many different states and these are by far the best.

I ordered the popusas de chicharrón con queso. I am very disappointed, it tasted more like a basic quesadilla. There was no chicharrón or even the flavor of the chicharrón. I have a lot of family and friends from El Salvador and i know what these popusas are supposed to taste like. I've done much better on my own following youtube recipes. I've added a picture to show there is literally no chicharrón in it.

The food here was absolutely great. This is a humble little spot owned by a wonderful couple who prepares their dishes with love. I was taken by a friend who highly recommended visiting it. The Hispanic culture is definitely represented well here through it's food and love of life.

My mother ordered pupusas from here on June 4,2021 and got food poisoning that sent her to the ER that night. She said the service was very slow and the staff were not friendly. She now has an plus $1,000 ER bill due to this place likely not preparing their food well.

Enviroment was clean and friendly! The food was great and came in good size portions. Definitely a spot to stop by if near by! There is also an Elote stand across the street if you have any room left!
