Anytime Fitness, Sulphur Springs TX

I was enjoying my time as a guest at anytime, but recently me and my gymmate were wrongfully accused of not paying my way into the gym and that was understandable but after my gymmate explained to a member on the staff that I did pay and that the proof was on camera they laughed in our face and proceeded to claim we did not pay.

I have a membership at your Sulphur Springs location. I 100% believed I was racially profiled by your staff at the gym. Me and my friend (who doesn’t have a membership) went into your gym around 8: 00 last night which we have for a week since he’s back from college we make sure we pay and write our information every time. I receive a text message this morning from a lady named “Dixie” in the message she proceeded to tell me that I brought somebody into the gym that didn’t have a membership and that if I do that they need to pay $5. Which I complete understand never intended for my friend to workout for free, but I was also positive that my friend paid and signed his name on the sheet as we’ve did every day he’s been there friends name is “dee”. I gave Dixie a call right away after I received the message from her because I was assure we did everything correctly. I proceeded to ask Dixie if my friends name was on the paper she said “yes”. I then asked Dixie if she made a mistake. Dixie proceeded to laugh and mock me over the phone after I asked her a simple question. Dixie then proceeded to say in the camera it looks like we just walked by without filling anything out. I’ve never in my life had to deal with any source of racism until today. I’ve been very fortunate enough to not experience any discrimination. Today I was racially profiled by my own gym that I pay a membership too. I’m disappointed, hurt and traumatized from the way I was laughed, mocked and wrongfully accused.

This facility is very welcoming. I’ve been going here for approximately three years, and never once had a bad experience.

Poor customer service for my friends who did exactly what they were supposed to do. I understand there are misunderstandings but the anytime fitness staff handled the situation very rudely/unprofessionally for something that could be fixed with simple conversation.

Terrible customer service from an employee named “Dixie” to wrongfully accuse 2 of my good friends because of their race when there is evidence to prove they followed protocol is just crazy to me

My brother and his friend was racially profiled and accused of not paying when there was proof and they were mocked and ridiculed for absolutely no reason and that was certainly uncalled for

I love this gym and highly recommend, the staff is great and very helpful! I visit Anytime all across America and my home-base Anytime is one of my favored.

The trainer they use Angie, I would not recommend I laid out my schedule being a Truck driver gone but one full day of the week discussing my concerns. I was reassured that my specifications could be met and put down my several hundred dollar deposit. Within the first appointment we had issues as the only appointment she had would be at 6: 30am. I made it to the first one on my only day off. The second one I had to reschedule because it was just to early and I'm also dealing with a father with dementia in a nursing home. My third scheduled appointment she contacted me 30 minutes prior to meeting and said she couldn't meet because she had "meals to prepare that brought her more profit" I guess then my petty several hundred dollars brought in. WOW, OKAY. On top of that she promised for a month she would email me a routine I could do on the rig.never happened! I requested a refund and that was a whole other ordeal as it became a battle and then her price went up for a less refund return. Not to mention I had to give her my email address for the 5th time (Remember she was emailing me exercises and still doesn't have my email address) The whole thing was a joke. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
"Boll Fitness" you can find on Facebook has been great replacement trainer for a reasonable price.

Update 2022 - Since new membership, they have expanded significantly, got some great new machines, and the overall atmosphere here has improved 10 fold. Highly recommend this gym if you're looking to get started at the gym.

Original 2018 - Older machines and if you're new here you'll get the occasional glances from some of the members. The headphone jacks in the treadmills are flakey, but they do have a really good selection of all kinds of equipment.

The staff is never there to take payments. Smh. Always in and or brb for break or lunch. So annoying this is like day 3

I enjoy it, it's a clean establishment that allows me to work on becoming fit, anytime.

Great gym, great management and owners, love the expansion as well and new equipment. But its a little hard to work out when complete turf and some gym floor space being taken up all day by work out classes either have to go late at night to not be in there way.

A great gym, with fantastic and friendly owners. Very safe and clean for enjoying your workout experience!

I am a member so of course I will recommend! LOL
Owners are amazing and equipment is plentiful and diverse. Many classes available. Tanning beds available.
