7Not the place to go to if you are wanting a healing practitioner to work on you.
Anyone who is familiar with Eastern medicine knows that personalized medicine, which is now practiced in Western medicine began with the Eastern influence. I went to AOMA clinic with a request for Electro Acupuncture that was used in my Physical Therapy treatment plan and was very successful. All I needed was to find a place that would continue the care I got from my physical therapists after I was released from their care.
I was SHOCKED to find that AOMA clinic director had NO intention of trying to treat me as needed. Apparently, personalized medicine ISN"T practiced at this clinic and they are in the cookie cutter mindset.if "you" don't fit into their structure - they don't want to help you.
I found another practitioner here in Austin that does practice compassion and would NOT turn away a patient that received care that was successful. She also practices personalized medicine to what her clientele needs.that has worked before.
AOMA should be ashamed of themselves turning away a patient for which they have the skills to carry out such treatment, but instead turned a blind eye. When the energy of a practice turns away people in need.that is NOT good medicine.
Been going here for more than year. Dr. Shen has been helping manage and treat my lower back pain and neck pain. Will come back as needed!

If I could leave 10,000 stars, I would. The people here are absolutely wonderful! From reception to clinic, you’re welcomed and safe the whole way through. They always make sure you’re comfortable. I’ve also never, EVER gotten so much EFFECTIVE relief! I have very severe chronic issues, and for the first time since my injuries and surgeries, I’m taking a FRACTION of the meds I used to for anxiety and pain. Their doctors are also phenomenal if you need a more in depth appointment. They listen, they’re so attentive, and so good at asking the right questions instead of LEADING questions. They don’t assume anything, which is so huge in medical for patients who are seeking relief and answers! Definitely give it a try! Three million thumbs up! Nothing but love for this place and everyone there!
