Wanted to give a shout out to Alishia and Dianna for going above and beyond Dianna in the call center actually figured out what was wrong and made sure we were taken care of. The call that went to a call center in India were part of the problem. Once it went through to South Texas they fixed what the India call center would not! You company could have saved a ton of time by sticking with Your Texas support team that figured out the problem and focused on the problem instead of making excuses.

They can't follow simple requests they use to there is no one who can help and they completed my move request wrong. No one seems concerned to fix and the power says it won't turn on till 2 days after the requested date because they are closed! On a weekday! Seriously pay a little more and save yourself

Having a commercial account with APGE for our business has saved us a lot of money. I recommend them highly. Their customer service is great and so is their website.

I signed up two years ago and have loved saving money each month on my electric bill. I signed a three year contract and the only thing I regret is that I couldn't sign up for 5+ years ~ and BTW, their customer service is great!

They are the worst. I had 2 residential accounts set up with them at the same location. The main house and an apartment. We sold the house in 2021, I called to cancel both accounts. The main house account was cancelled, but the apartment was not. I was not notified by the new owner and the bills apparently continued to be mailed to the apartment. When I realized that the electricity was still on in the apartment in my name, I called again to cancel service. It was not cancelled. I found out services was still on in October of 2022! I called AGAIN to cancel service. I paid the bill that had continued to increase so that it would not go on my credit but tried to dispute it with the agent. I was met with rude, dismissive service. A few days later, a charge on my bank card was authorize to APG&E for a reconnection fee! I have tried calling and I have submitted the complaint to their customer service with absolutely no response or resolution. I will continue to try to get my issue resolved and a refund for all of the $ paid for a house I have not owned in over a year, but wanted to share my experience in hopes I save someone else the headache. DO NOT USE THEM, there are much better companies out there!

Good luck getting someone to help and speak to when you have a problem with commercial business service. I am a small business owner and have been with APGE for close to 2 years. No issue signing up or paying my bill every month. Their rates were competitive and they had a great website to pay.

Finally when I had a problem, I called in to speak to someone who might be able to help. The customer service agents who you speak to initially are all going off of a prewritten step by step instruction. It's like you are talking to a machine and not a human being. They took my information and even gave me a case # and told me someone would call me back.

Waited 3 days, no call back. Call in and the agent goes through the same step by step instruction again and tells me someone would call me back b/c he can't help with commercial business accounts. I tell him I have a case # and he doesn't even know what to do with the case #. I wait another couple of days and still no call back. I email them directly and they email back saying they had asked my energy broker to call me back and asked if they had called me back yet.

What the heck? ! I have a problem that I need APGE help with and not the person who sold me my energy contract with APGE. Just horrible service and time wasted trying to reach an actual person who can help me with my business account. Too many energy companies out there to waste time with one who can't even call me back or even reach a human being who can help with my commercial business account.

I've been with this company for more than 8 years and just about 6 months ago they are charging me double! My delivery fee is the same amount as my regular bill and they are blaming it on Centerpoint. My contract ended and I'm a valuable long-term customer and I'm being charged 20 cent a kilowatt. There is no way a two bedroom resident bill adds up to 730.00. Goodbye APG&E

CONTRACT EXPIRED AND I RESIGNED A NEW ONE, LESSON LEARNED. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SIGNING WITH A DIFFERENT PROVIDER BECAUSE YOU CAN END BILLING CYCLE SOONER AS APPOSED TO HAVING TO CONTINUE CURRENT EXPIRED HIGHER RATE UNTIL END OF BILLING CYCLE. BUT APG&E DIDN'T EXPLAIN THAT. 0.18 PER KILOWATT HOUR OVER TRIPPLED MY BILL AND WAS TOLD THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. IF I WOULD HAVE WENT WITH A DIFFERENT PROVIDER I WOULD HAVE STARTED THE BILLING CYCLE SOONER. ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR I DONT KNOW HOW LONG AND COULDNT CONTINUE TO HOLD ANY LONGER.

I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS STANDARD PRATICE FOR ALL PROVIDERS BUT IT DOESN'T INCENTIVISE YOU TO STAY WITH THE CURRENT PROVIDER.

I WOULD BE HAPPY UPDATE MY REVIEW IF SOMEONE WAS WILLING HELP 2 $700 LIGHT BILLS IS MORE THAN I CAN AFFORD, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM UNTIL NOW. ACCT NUMBER 52365795-861

So I have a commercial account with apg&e for years and my contract recently expired instead of them reaching out to me and asking me If I’d like to renew it or continue service they never did I was never aware of my contract becoming expired so when I called them they said that when I signed their “terms and conditions” that they would charge me a pro rated rate of 3x at the end of my contract.instead of my average bill being $1500-$1700 I was charged $4500 for one month bill and was set back a long time because of this coming directly out of my account since I was on autopay. I would never recommend this company to anyone I’m very disappointed with my experience and unsatisfied with the end results.

For days I've been waiting on a call back and been on hold for over an hour. When the automated voice tells you how much time you have before you get to 2 minutes, it'll then switch to no longer stating a time and then keeping you waiting for another 50 minutes plus. This company has not yet gotten me to a representative or called me back when I enter my number for a call back. The price for KW has doubled from last year, use to pay 10.2 and now its 22 per kw. This companies quality of customer service has declined substantially. I was with this company for over 8 years and they have now lost my business.
