Applebee's Grill + Bar, Little Elm TX

My sister and I eat here regularly but we hadn't been to this location in a while because the food quality was just going downhill. We came the other night and I was definitely in awe. The food was amazing and sooooo fresh. And the waiter Omar was fantastic.

Applebees is always a hit and miss. My Dad luvs it. Last time we went to dinner there 7/29/21 was during the promotion time for the Jungle Cruise tickets, we spent almost 150.00 and didnt receive the tickets. When asked about them, we got the brush off. Always new servers and food is always cold.

The Fiesta Lime chicken is my go to! Logan was our server and he was great. Didn't know they had chicken corn dogs on the kids menu which is good for us as we don't eat pork or beef.
Cons: the atmosphere here is a little out dated. Feel like I'm still going to the same vibe they launched in the early 00's. Could use an update. Not to mention, it was muggy/humid in there. The alcohol wasn't recognizable at all, too heavy on the sour mix in the long Island.

Last week was our first time in this fine restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the excellent service, with the high quality cooking and booze and with the modest pay. We will no doubt go back there again.

Applebee's is fine. We like the lime chicken, bourbon street shrimp and chicken, steaks (that they cook as ordered), and onion soup. More than the food, the service has been excellent in the years we have been going there.

Don't know if this is a franchise store, but they dont have the late night happy hour! At least we didn't get it on a Wednesday night!

Had lunch with daughter and daughter in law.l ordered the chicken and penne, lt did not look appealing to me. Really no taste.the girls ordered the salmon and they loved it.

Google states the restaurant closes at 2am Th-Sat when I get there at 11: 34pm the doors are locked the sign says they close at midnight, when I call I am told they close at midnight but the doors are already locked at 11: 30. Very misleading and inconsiderate.

I mean, it's Applebee's. The food is Applebee's food.
Jace, the bartender was amazing, though. Very attentive. Very nice.

Only cause I couldn't give 0 Stars. Waited 20 minutes in parking lot before having to go inside to inquire about my order. Can we have our tip back?

We’ve had a good experience here in the past, but yesterday was disappointing and aggravating. We had a cheeseburger and it was kind of subpar. Nothing special. Our server was mostly attentive, but she was training a new server, so we were more less ignored as far as needing refills. I think we would’ve had a better burger at McDonald’s across the parking lot. It certainly wasn’t worth $12! I doubt we’ll go back.

Service was subpar. We actually didn't know who our waitress was, we were served by three but none followed up at all. My wife's food went back and mine was cold. Not a good experience.

We came in at 11 am and the place was filthy. We sat at the bar and there was dust all over the cash register and the bar had crumbs and junk all over it and we had to ask for it to be sanitized. The bar tender ran a towel over a couple of spots and gave us menus. Seriously? We got up and left. If this is how they sanitize the places the customer can see, I can't imagine what the kitchen is like.

Every person working that we had interaction was rude. Clearly they don't know customer service. The kitchen was incredibly dirty for 7pm. Food was cold and the salad looked like it was sitting around for days. Unbelievable!
Don't come here! We will never go again.

This review is mainly for the service. I took my family of four on a weekday evening and there were not many tables. Server took over 20 min to come take order, let alone drinks, and then never saw our waitress till the bill. Food came out pretty well, 2 kids meals and the 2 for 25, however brought out from different servers. Our server never came back to check on food or drinks. I had to flag down another server to get refills. Our server finally came back to drop off bill and see if we needed anything. I mentioned I was a veteran for military discount and server kind of gave off an annoyed yes having to adjust ticket. Took another 15 min to get new ticket, after I saw she was just chatting with two tables away from us.
