Applebee's Grill + Bar, Arlington TX

I am not hard to please when it comes to food and I was quick to say before tonight that Applebee's was my favorite chain restaurant. We even traveled 30 minutes to get to this location because it was a special night for us. We walk in and aren't greeted. We waited 5 minutes to be seated. We got seated and got handed a scramble of menus. It was easy because I love Applebee's I get the same thing every time. Raspberry lemonade, wonton tacos, and a fried chicken oriental salad with extra side of oriental sauce. We get our drinks. Its tea. The waiter accuses us of saying tea. I order the same thing every time. Why would I order tea? The waiter fixes it for us and I am just hoping the night gets better. Our wonton tacos come out. The shells are stale. I choke them down and once again hope the salad is better. Our salads come out with grilled chicken and no extra sauce. We send it back and pay for what we got and leave. Totally not worth the money we paid for the drinks and tacos alone. Fix your situation seriously. Worst dining experience of my life.

Won't be going back for football games. They will only serve you 3 drinks period.
Forget that place. There are too many places in Arlington to got enjoy a beer and football.

Bartender was rude and catered to only locals. Cut us off because we complained about our beer not right. We had great food.don't get me wrong.but CHICO the bartender was rude! I will NEVER! Come back to this applebees.worst experience ever!

It was a great Veterans Day experience. The host was so entertaining and jovial. The meal was prepared quickly and was very tasty.

We were there for Veterans Day 11/11/23 it was Great Chico was an Army Veteran and we found Air Force and Navy Veterans. The Special Menu served was very nice. My Veteran hubby Tim was very happy with His shrimp coleslaw and french fries. Unfortunately David was working My Eldest Son Veteran and Youngest still in The USN Real Navy about to be on Ship.

Had some friends go there and told me 2 shoot a review.the server was unpleasant and unattentive and unprofessional food was poor quality and first time took 30 minutes for them to be seated and then this time they were curious and they would had rather finish there conversation then 2 seat them and were not polite when they were seated they were very unhappy with service

Customer service is horrible as soon as I walk in the lady (manager) instead of greeting she just stared at me and I told her O came to pick up an order and she literally answer me with an attitude. NEVER AGAIN FIRST AND LAST TIME

Taylor is a no good! She attempted to charge my card and my friends’ card for items we did not have. She called the manager over after she started an argument for us questioning her about payments charged. I insisted the cameras be viewed that’s when the manager informed me that it would take days because there’s another system before viewing the footage. The manager reimbursed us for the overcharges, eventually. Taylor is not to be trusted. She’s a new employee but definitely look over your ticket before and after she runs your card.

Chico needs a raise STAT! The service was phenomenal even though they were short-staffed. Chico made sure our needs were met and that we received exemplary service. He was doing it all…server, host, cook you name it…he was doing it all with no complaints. Thank you, Chico. You’re a rockstar!

Longest wait and there were tables available, hostess skipped us and we had to wait even more, the drinks tasted like koolaid no alcohol in them did not even get the dollar ones, sat at the bar and the bartender did not even acknowledged us just said would clear the dishes 15 min passed and did not even do that horrible service by that bartender. Will never be back.

I didn’t even get to order, the way we were treated like children. I am almost 31 and here with friends who are between ages 19-30. They told us before we order that they would call the cops if we ordered alcohol and let our friends who are underage take a sip. Then when it came time to order, I didn’t want a drink of anything, just an appetizer. The person snapped saying to not rush them, they are taking drink orders only right now… I let the ready of my party eat. I chose not to eat.

They don't take reservations which sucks because if you have a big party they will take forever to find you a seat and on top of that they are so low staffed that they had a new girl service our party of 7 and she gave us mixed information on some of the drinks.

Went here for the dollar margaritas. The food was very mediocre. Margaritas really taste like juice just FYI I even tried one of the Halloween drinks and it was not that great waiter was completely on attentive. I would definitely recommend going to a different location.

You come here because you want affordable food or you're drunk. They seem to be understaffed at this location at night, and while the servers are nice, the wait time to get anything is quite long.
