They don’t do NOTHING. Inconsiderate and lazy and definitely do not have any parking spots and love to tow cars. Sink still leaking they said maintenance was coming. I see maintenance lazy self driving around in the golf cart doing NOTHING. 0/10 would NOT recommend idc if it’s your first time. Just don’t do it

Since my last review was mysteriously removed, I’ll post again. DO NOT RENT HERE. I have been out of this dump for over 60 days and have not received any correspondence about my deposit. The manager is always conveniently out of office when I call. They have no record of a $1300 extra deposit I paid when I leased, which I’m sure I’ll never get considering I can’t even get back the deposit they admit I had on file.

German cockroaches will be your roommate here at Arden Woods, no matter how clean you are because your neighbors will be gross. Guaranteed.

Trash compactor is always overfilled blocking the path to the mail room. Leasing staff is unresponsive and rude. Maintenance guy tries but they only have one, poor guy.

My next move is going to be small claims court. The on-site staff and management company are crooked to say the least.

If i could do negative 5 i would i Booked a tour to see two different 1 bedroom apartments when arrived to come see the tour the leasing agent didn't warn me nor gave me a heads up before arrival that she was leaving less than a hour before the scheduled appointment at 2 when me and my wife arrived she automatically started to tell us she has to leave and when I asked for self guidance tour she said no! Then when I asked why she didn't tell me all she did was give me a sorry and ask so I want to reschedule I said no because the other co worker and manager was there I asked can they do it and they said no as well with no regard or care about us touring leasing agent and management need to be replaced removed ex sponge something that straight non sense and expect is to still book like nothing wrong with what they did!

Rude staff. She did not seem like she wanted to do her job. You could see her eyes roll when you ask her a question. I understand showing is cut off at 530pm, we got there at 530p but had to wait for people to get out of her office and she refused. We had called them 2 times at 445pm prior to being on the way and no one picked up

The most horrible unhelpful staff ever (but Ms Ruth) …. Just to start the property manager is one of the most rudest person I’ve ever deal with, he called me one day put me on hold for 10’min the hang up on my face and ended up sending me an email….
Not to mention my unit was not even ready to move in when they gave it to me, the ac didn’t work neither my dryer it took them almost 3 weeks for them to fix my ac and 2 months to replace my dryer…. And when I would ask for solutions all they said was they didn’t have any …. That I have to wait there’s nothing they can do, I don’t know why they work there if they can’t come with solutions
Literally the worst experience ever… and I only been there for 2 months… and not to mention my ac has broken down 2 times in 1 week….

Lived in this community for 2 years July 21- July 23. In that time the management company changed at least twice. Maintenance are nice guys but not always the quickest to take care of things. I was never able to use the over head light in my kitchen because they could not properly fix it, they only replaced the light tube. The A/C of the apartment above me leaked into my home twice. My A/C would go out every other month because the line would get backed up. In late Spring/early Summer of 2022 they said they were going to have a crew come out to prep our A/C units for the Summer, when they did this they blew the dust all over the apartment and did nothing to clean up their mess, it felt intrusive and violating. I went to the office to tell them what happened, I was told they would have someone come that evening to clean but at 10: 30 that evening nothing had been done. I was offered a cleaning service a week later. There is no parking at the complex in the early evening, if you come home later then 4PM. There were a few nights I had to park outside of the complex at the office to make sure I would not be towed over night.
The newest management company seems to be even less on things than the previous. One of the new agents mimicked/mocked me as I was filling out the paperwork to not renew, she then either didn’t file my paperwork or lost it. So I had to redo the paperwork. They also did not update my forwarding address, it has been a month and a half since I moved and I had to call them because no one contacted me about my security deposit refund.
Cannot dissuade anyone enough from this community.

The new management especially Alex has really gone above and beyond to help us move and be comfortable here in our new home. Absolutely love it here. Great amenities and service on par. Would live here over any other luxury apartment complex in the area!

I would not recommend these apartments to nobody. These apartments laughable. A/c unit is bound to go out at least twice a month, all the grass dead, the pool nasty, and all they do is ride around and tow peoples cars even when they know it doesn’t be anywhere to park. These apartments are trash anybody can come in cause the gates are never closed, and they are wasp nest on the balcony I’ve been telling management about for months. Management is awful. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I know complexes are big into reviews so I’m posting this here because I know it will be QUITE A LONG TIME BEFORE MAINTENANCE COMES.

1 month ago, my downstairs neighbors asked if I too had a leak which I stated no. Upon further inspection, I noticed mold in my hall closet. I received a call from Arden requesting permission to enter my apt to check for a leak. They came, saw the mold, and never came back.

TODAY - July 31st, I hear water dripping and see that my AC has been leaking water. So much so that one bin is not full of standing water and it’s leaking into the hall. I’ve called Arden to alert them of this. Can you please send someone out here now to fix this? No one should be forced to live with mold and standing water in their home. Not for the amount of money we pay each month for raggedy luxury apartments.

Disappointed is an understatement with this complex. Between no parking, broken gates, dirty pool, overflowing trash cans, inconsistent valet trash service…. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have been putting a request for the same thing over and over and no one is fixing the problem only coming to patch things up! I was told i was getting a new hot water heater by two different maintenance men and I’ve been taking cold showers for two weeks

If the negative ratings could be made available then this place would certainly hit the top spot in the entire neighborhood. DO NOT MOVE HERE! ALL POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE ONLY FROM THE EMPLOYEES, MANAGER OF ARDEN WOODS OR JUST FROM PEOPLE GETTING PAID TO WRITE REVIEWS, BUT NOT JUST FROM THE ACTUAL RESIDENTS LIVING FROM LONG TIME. Soon after the move only one would realize that how much worse a place like this could be. Management is completely opaque in communication and does not communicate well anything in advance or ever. The MANAGER IS NEVER IN THE OFFICE. THEY CLOSE THE POOL DURING THE MONTH, AND OPEN IT JUST ON THE TIME WHEN THE RENT IS DUE. Especially how the charges are calculated only they know. EVEN after in person various follow-ups are done, you wouldn't find appointment with manager. Almost every week there will be issues related to parking, security, hygiene, trash, maintenance service requests and what not. The manager has prejudice against various tenants. If you are not one of their likings list that one could only notice after living here, then you are on your own. Not only one would have difficulty after moving in here, but also much more difficulty after move out, with shocking charges. I wish the owner realize this one day and do something about this current management and provide escalation path to resolve issues! DEFINATELY A NO - NO TO THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT AND THEIR WORKING STYLE, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT WORKING FOR THE RESIDENTS.

Went with my boyfriend on a tour and v was amazing! She was attentive made sure everything he wanted was available and answered any questions we had!

Been here for more years than I care to admit. Despite the rent continuously going up, the quality of this property goes does much faster. Gate constantly broken, questionable pest control, frequent police activity, I could go on. 6 management companies in 5 years. Let that sink in. The new management seems inconsiderate, and the manager Alex is mouthy and likes to interrupt. Dont bet on being able to contact any of them either. Unreliable and focused on revenue, not taking care of their customers. Do yourself a favor and pick one of the other establishments in the area, they are all nicer options than Arden Woods.

I’ve been living here since 2021. We recently got a new property management company (third one for me). The new manager, I see him out walking the property, every single day with this heat. He and his team have been addressing all the various issues that have accumulated over the last couple of years. Things have gotten a lot better recently. Sure, we had the blackout which was not their fault so the pool was closed a few days obviously. I personally enjoy living here because it’s quiet and clean (now anyway). The maintenance team is also nice. I don’t know what the complaint reviews are all about. They must just be really needy or like to complain. With this new management everything has and will continue to improve.

I tour the community today the lady that Helped us (Vee) was super amazing and kind with us, she explain everything very well, and she found the perfect floor plan and better price for us. Definitely this community is in the top of my list!

Please do not move here. There are always problems and they take a long time to fix anything. The ac always freezes over, there is no where to park, and lots of loud neighbors. It is just a sub par, very low quality apartment complex
