A bit expensive for the size of the portion. The arepas needed a bit more flavor.and the cachapas had no flavor.however place is clean and orderly and have a variety on the menu.maybe mine was an off day.might give 1 more chance in the future

I went with family and share the samples to try as little bit of everything. The cachapas, empanadas, and tequeños were great, very tasteful. I had also the beef patacon, it was good. I would go back for the tequeños!

Updated Review: It went from a 5 star to a 2 star only because of the custom service.

I do love coming to this place because the food is delicious. I normally take my food togo, that never is a problem but it is like pulling teeth with them asking for sauce to go. It is normally awkward because I'll ask for more because they only fill the small ramekin half way and look at me like I am crazy. I wouldnt have to ask for more if they just filled it all the way. Sure it is awkward asking for more because they give you a mean look. That is something that doesn't bother me but this time was different. This time I was denied extra sauce. This was the first time I have worked with this woman. She told me I could only have one extra sauce but it doesn't sound so bad BUT this woman had the rudest attitude in the world. It truly seemed she wanted to prove a point that they will not give more sauce. I do not know what her problem was. I paid the food, I tipped 20%, and have never been rude to them! Then I ask if I can buy some extra sauce and COULD NOT believe the words that came out of this womans mouth. She told me no at first. (I did give her a crazy look, naturally) Then she changed her mind and told me I can only buy sauce in bulk! I said nothing after that. I just took my food and skimpy sauce to go. I write this because the whole ordeal was ridiculous and fairly petty. If you have such a problem giving people sauce (even though if you eat there in person you can have all of the sauce in the world), you should have an option to at least let me pay for a little extra, or not be rude.

This food is truly the Bomm! I can’t wait to be hungry again and eat there again. My husband is from Venezuela and says this is as close to home as it gets.

Great Venezuelan restaurant in the North Houston area (if you are close to Spring and even if you are in the Woodlands area). People are really friendly and food is great. My wife and I recommend the Sample Platter if it is your first time there to taste a little bit of everything. If you wanna try a regular dish, you cannot go wrong with an arepa (Reina Pepiada) or cachapa (cheese and shredded beef). For drinks we like Malta Polar or Passion Fruit juice. All is very good. We go there every two weeks or so. It looks very clean and has free available parking lot and wifi.

Terrible. I was so excited to eat tequenos, pastelitos and empanadas. What a disappointment. The dough of the TINY tequenos was too thick. The pastelitos taste like cardboard and the empanadas were sweet and soggy. The chicha drink was also too thick, the consistency of pudding. I came here about a year ago and it was good, but now its it's horrible.
