Arirang Restaurant reviews
13The food is the star here and this place nails it. Broth is rich and authentic. Had the beef rib soup and seafood noodles and it was all amazing. Even better than some of the restaurants I had in South Korea. Come strictly for the food, don’t expect much for atmosphere or service.
I can't rate the place since it was closed due to kitchen fire. It will reopen on July 17th.
I came in with my family and it was a big group of 8 adults and 1 kid. The food was okay but their customer service is really bad. She lady she kept yelled at us. I don’t if it the way how Korean people talk and act…? But its just awfully and she’s been giving us her attitude when we telling her the BBQ meats were over burnt. They took away the BBQ plates and never give it back or helped us reorder it. After that she were standing on front of the table and screaming if we wants to order something more…. I don’t know what to say, they need to fix their attitude and the way they giving custome service. I will never come back to this place, and highly recommend people should not try it out.
Food was overpriced. Meat was undercooked and tough. Our server was rude, inattentive, and sat us next to an unclean table which stayed that way for over half of our meal. When leaving, the owner yelled at us about the tip amount we had left. The pair started cussing at me and my girlfriend on our way out in Korean. Very rude, entitled staff.
Do not expect a smile or to be checked back w once you’ve been served. This is also the first Korean restaurant that’s ever refused to refill sides…
The food was pretty
Good but the service Was not that great. The server did not check on us and we waited for a refill for a while. But good food!
By far the best Korean restaurant I have tried in San Antonio. I love everything I've tried.
Read some of the reviews here about bad service. I don’t deny that they do seemed a bit lacking of American standard of good service but I don’t think they are rude as they were very attentive to their customers and we were promptly seated and had our orders taken as soon as we arrived. Food was very authentic and everything we ordered tasted very good! We will be back if we are visiting San Antonio again!
First time there and our waitress was extremely friendly. I was impressed. The food was different but it was good.
Went last night and I have to say it was some of the most incredible food I’ve ever had. We went as a group of 6 and shared bites of each one and every dish was better than the last. Don’t sleep on this place! I saw reviews saying the staff was rude, but that was not our experience. They are very hospitable, and warmed up as we started asking questions and joked around with us. My only word of advice is that they don’t bring the bill to you, so when you’re ready you go to the register to check out.
Edit to say don’t forget to try the Korean beer!
Best korean restaurant I ate out of Korea. Even in Korea they don't have in one restaurant all the amazing dishes they have here. If location was in a crowded centric area it would be famous.
Bi-bim-bap was good, they made it vegan for me. My friend got sick from undercooked meat, hence the two stars. Not worth going back to.
A little pricy, but it's a small local business that should definitely be supported. Amazing, authentic korean food. I got seafood pancake and dolsot bimbimbap
