Arms of Hope Donation Center, Houston TX

Zero stars if I could. Had to schedule my pickup 2 weeks in advance. Made sure I gave them everything they needed and had everything set outside nice and neat for them. The drivers didn’t even bother to come to the right address and they snapped pictures of a random place to “document” them showing up.

I called them multiple times that day to check on the status of the pickup and all I got was “it’s still scheduled for pickup” only to find out at 4: 30pm that the person who scheduled my pickup didn’t properly put in my address. All of this could’ve been avoided with proper communication and follow up.

I was expecting a call Saturday from the agent who told me she corrected the address and sent an email to the higher ups to look into this issue and possibly get a pickup Monday or Tuesday. No call back. Called back around 9: 20 today and nobody answered her email. Now I have to wait until the end of the week before pickup and I’m set to move out on Tuesday. My things are still out here.

Horrible execution all around. Assurances made- none of them kept. The ONLY bright side about this organization is that agent who told me about the error and sent the email to the higher ups letting them know about this situation. Do better folks!
