A.R.T. Massage Body Spa, San Antonio TX

Beware! Even after a spa package was purchased in advance through A. R. T Massage Body Spa's website for an agreed list of services (Super Sweet Spa Retreat), the owner/management believes its OK to change more AFTER that fact for the same service as described in the gift certificate. Also, the duration of the service advertised 3 hrs/15 min) isn't the same as the actual service (2 hrs / 45 min) specified in the actual gift certificate. Unbelievable how ART believes it can increase the price of a gift certificate already purchased. Essentially, they want to charge more than what I paid for the gift certificate for the Super Sweet Spa Retreat in May for the same spa services. I understand increasing price for these services going forward, but not for these services purchased online previously. Prices are already very high at A. R. T.and for them to try and squeeze a little more out of people AFTER the online transaction is complete is misleading and dishonest (regardless of amount of the increase). That's like purchasing a ticket online in advance at Six Flags (which can be used for up to a year from date of purchase), getting to the gate for a day of fun, only to be told that the ticket prices have gone up and you need to pay a little more. How would you feel? Crazy! I'm in the process of requesting a refund but my emails have gone unanswered.surprise, surprise!

I came here for a 60 min massage with Kerry and she is hands down the best! Would recommend to anyone. This place is very welcoming and calm and peaceful nice get away for stress relief!

I took myself for my birthday, best gift ever! With the relaxing atmosphere and wonderful staff it is the perfect place to rest and recharge. I got a massage, facial and pedicure. I left feeling like heaven. I recommend this place hands down over any other.

Went for a cleansing organic facial before my bday party, and I was good to go. Cynthia did a great job. I was relaxed and comfortable the whole time. I will definitely go again.

Everything looked clean and staff was nice, but the quality of the massage was below my normal expectation.

I am impressed more and more by their Esthetician, Grace. She makes you feel welcomed, and her passion for skincare is evident in her treatments and home care.

Don’t go to this spa! They provided me with the wrong information and had to pay for their mishaps. The way they conduct their business is intolerable and should not go unnoticed.

The only place that I've found that offers dry pedicures. I love them! Their paints don't last long and this isn't the place to go for designs and stuff. The nail technician does a great job at a foot massage and it's very relaxing there.

Kerry was my massage therapist. She has such a good technique when massaging. She completely relaxed me and I was able to truly enjoy the massage. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Cynthia is always a professional and have had services including manis and pedis and facials. As manager, she's always looking for ways to add environmentally safe and helpful products for her customers. I drive an hour for her services on a regular basis and have done so for over 6 years and will continue. In addition, ART is like being in your own living spa. Very comfy and very safe. Love it.
