Arundhati Harati, MD reviews
2I have been with Dr. Harati for many years. I recommend her to everyone. She has been a God send for my family. I appreciate her more than I would ever be able to look her in the eyes and say without tears. She is amazing.
I had a new patient appointment with Dr Harita 4/21/23.
As soon as she came into the room and introduced herself, the 1st thing she said was "you take lots prescriptions".
She then told me I needed blood work.
I said, yes, I do take lots prescriptions and that I was ready to get blood work.
She then said again "you take lots prescriptions".
To be clear, I take 5 prescriptions.
She then started trying to explain that it would take a month "or so" to get my prescriptions because she wanted me to see specialist.
All the prescriptions I take were prescribed by General Practitioner.
I informed her I was ready to do whatever she suggested.
She then accused me of being nervous.
She talked in circles for a few minutes before telling me again that I was nervous and that this was not a good fit, and that I needed to get another Dr.
I told her I was recording the visit, and wanted to establish a relationship with her and just wanted her to tell me what she needed.
It was apparent that she was upset that I was recording the office visit and told me I had broken her trust and to leave and stormed out the door.
As I was getting my things the office manager came in (Stacy Simmons McClain) and told me that recording the office visit was illegal (it's not illegal)
I informed her I'm 62yo and I record all Dr visits to ensure I have the information to reference later.
Stacy them told me I have to leave.
As we walked to the front Stacy told me "you better watch yourself".
I do not know what that means, but considering she's the office manager I'm assuming she has access to all my medical records. I certainly felt it was a threat.
I've never written a bad review. Never made a complain against a Dr.
I couldn't recommend this facility to anybody.
I have audio recording of everything I spoke about.
