Ascension Seton Highland Lakes, Burnet TX

Usually I have a great experience here that’s why I recommended it to my daughter when my granddaughter was sick. Today I took her and her non verbal autistic daughter to the er. She had her baby that still nurses with her. I came along to help. Immediately when called back the nurse said only one family member the rooms are small. I have come many times with my husband (way bigger than my adult daughter) and daughter and never been told we both couldn’t be in the room with her. I had to take the baby that nurses into the waiting room or leave and come back. My daughter had no phone to call me when she was done or update me because we left so fast without her phone. I would not recommended coming here if you have 2 family members that are trying to actively help with a sick child.

A woman working the desk, Stephanie, due to her positive attitude and great approach and contribution to my care and the professional to hers, made all the difference during my hospital visit. She made sure my care was effective, efficient, and appropriately addressed to the greatest of her ability. I received so much courtesy from her, even MORE SO from ANY of the other staff at the hospital, nurses and doctors included.

Her work place is extremely lucky to have her and I think she deserves to be recognized.

The staff at the surgical center in the hospital are amazing! I cannot say enough good things about them. They truly care and listen.

This place has the sweetest people. And work fast to find out the problem. I do wish an xray was performed but imma trust the process and wear this boot for about a week. Very clean. Big rooms. Blessed I have this place so close to home

My husband had knee replacement and he had great Dr, nieces, techs, pt, ot, cleaning lay to lunch staff they made his stay great. Thanks to all!

Check in was prompt. Explanations were provided in a timely manner. Staff was courteous and friendly. Procedure went well, as did recovery.

The Doctor and nurses are the best! I've had surgeries done. They are so kind and take such good care of there patients.

Stuff very friendly, comforting and efficient. Dr. Thomas is so good and came in a couple of times before and after surgery.

When I arrived there was minimal waiting. I appreciate the care and professionalism from the staff during my visit. Most of all the attending surgeon's professionalism and great bedside manner.

I had a STAT order for an ultrasound for a possible blood blot and was supposed to get my results within an hour so I would know if I need emergency treatment but I still haven’t heard from them in over 24 hours. You would think something of this nature would be a priority but it’s not.

I've had blood work done here a few times and it's usually pretty quick and I don't have to wait very long. The staff are friendly and they are very clean and professional. There is plenty of parking and it was a little hard to find because it's the lab right behind the emergency room at the hospital. I usually get my results back quickly and I will use Seton Lab again when I need to. I would recommend them to anyone.

My recent experience at Ascension Seton Highland Lakes met with welcoming & efficient service! The nurses and technicians are friendly & professional, & made me feel comfortable & well attended! My doctor was prompt & conveyed knowledgeable services & immediate follow up feedback!

I had a total knee replacement on 6/5/23. Aside from an equipment problem that postponed my surgery for a few hours, my stay was excellent. Every staff member and the Dr's were fantastic! It's a nice small hospital.

Dr Chu's team was superb! Deb, Tammy, Brook, and Mindy were professional and friendly. THANKS!

Dr Eric Mayer did a procedure on my back called a Selective Nerve Root Block at Ascension Seaton Hospital on June 14,2023. The entire process was very short and effective. The people involved from registration, pre opt, surgery room and post op were all outstanding. Dr Mayer was unbelievably effective in keeping me calm and in performing the procedure.

In the future if this is necessary to do again, my anxiety level will not be nearly as high. This is due to the professionalism of the individuals involved.

As always I had a great experience at Ascension Seton Highland Lakes Hospital. This was my first outpatient experience and it was just as good as my impatient surgery. My husband has had two knee surgeries there and an outpatient procedure as well.
The staff is very competent and extremely kind and caring. I have recommended ASHL to my friends and they have been happy. I cannot say enough good things about this facility.

I was in there today and amazed how much warmth and kindness all the staff had.
I was visiting a patient (I'm a social worker from a hospice company) everyone was so quick to assist with dnr and family support. Really impressed with this place.
