Very nice store; great selection of furniture; helpful sales people that are very knowledgeable and not pushy; we'll go again!

The store in San Marcos has a larger variety of furnishings on display. The salespersons were very friendly. Our salesman was extremely patient and helpful. He addressed all our questions and showed us the many possibilities of the items we were asking about. So attentive.

Store had amazing selection of furniture and our salesperson, Jay, was the most professional and helpful person we have ever dealt with. We will most certainly return here for more furniture. Thank you so much for helping us, Jay.

The gentleman that delivered my couches up 4 flights of stairs did an amazing fast job. They were careful and very respectful! They went above and beyond, considering my couches barely fit up the stairwell, to make sure my delivery was successful. They treated my property with respect and had great attitudes.

Corey and Jay were outstanding to work with! Really loved the environment and the quality for the price is really good! Loved the shopping experience!

Shop somewhere else! This San Marcos store charged me something on my account without notifying me and 2 months now I am still battling them about this charge. This is very shady! I have never had this kind of trouble with Rooms to Go. Check your monthly statements, make sure you are getting charged correctly.

Michael Rodriguez was such an amazing help to me in finding and purchasing the perfect table and chairs for my cottage!
He was very courteous, met me at the door, and showed me several pieces to choose from. This store has a huge selection of items for your home.

Big beautiful store but the salesman wouldn't let me walk around without asking every 5 minutes if everything was fine. Then we had 2 other different sales man trying to get us to try their mattress section. We didn't even finish looking at everything because we felt they were just following us.

Would not recommend to anyone. We were so excited for our first big furniture purchase for our new home, and this experience could not have been more disheartening. Choosing the couch was easy - but once you sign the paperwork and agree to payments/financing, level of service drops tremendously. Our sales guy didn't correct the address that he typed wrong, after I called it out and requested that it get fixed, and that made for a disaster. I could not get a single human to fix the mistake, and still don't have confirmed delivery information. They send you text prompts that tell you to call the store, only to soon be made aware that no Ashely store has a working phone line. They take your money/credit, and then could care less about what happens after the fact. Actively researching how I can cancel the purchase without fees or fines. This is insane and possibly the worst customer experience I've ever had.

This location is a zero, 60 year old Jeff “The Manager” does not know how to listen to a customer complaint. He told me that he did not need to be lectured to by a customer, that
he was 60 years old.

He has horrible customer service, a pride problem, and continued to talk over me.

I called him with a complaint, and got him instead of Dustin, because Dustin was off.

Michael sold my elderly mother some furniture, he was rude to my wife and only wanted to talk to my mother.

The next day Michael called, and said that he made mistakes in the “signed contract”, and the terms needed to change.

When my wife started asking him questions over the speaker phone, Michael told my wife “I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to…. ”

What? ….

I call Jeff angry and asked if it is okay for their employees to treat people that way, and pointed out that he was defensive, never once said I’m sorry, and kept talking over me.

I told him that I can see where his employees learn how to communicate. He took no responsibility, wanted me to come back the next day to talk to Dustin instead of taking initiative, and hung up when I told him that he didn’t care about his job or customer service.

He also would not honor the signed contract that his employee made. It feels like they were trying to take advantage of the elderly.

Shoppers beware!

I don't know where all of these so called good ratings came from. This place is horrible with customer service. They have my money and I still don't have a product. I've asked several times for a refund and keep getting the run-around. Going to the Better Business Bureau and then to WOAI Trouble Shooters

Vary nice staff, not once did I feel pressured into a sale. They let us take our time and think things over till we were ready to purchase.

Corey did a great answering all of our questions and knew when to back off and give us time to talk.

I was pleasantly surprised with my trip to this location today. My partner and I walked in just to browse for a new bed and after working with Abby along with some help with Jay and Troy we went ahead and got an amazing deal on a new mattress set. Abby was fun to talk to and had answers for all our questions. She was able to help us with financing and get everything to a price we liked. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Abby was fantastic to work with and knowledgeable about the product. She along with her supervisors Jay and Troy were able to get us a great deal with easy financing on a new mattress and adjustable base! We just stopped in to look around and are so happy we were able to leave with the deal we got on our new furniture. We definitely plan on returning here whenever we need to furnish anything.
