I had my truck towed to the shop for a crank no start. I was sure it was an electrical issue and was told the my PCM was bad on the truck. I called after receiving the quote to replace the PCM and was told they'd call back with an estimated time to receive the part and replace it and do further diagnostics. I received no call for 2 days and I when I called I got no answer. I went in and talked to the person at the desk and right then he started making calls to order the part at that time. The part could not be located for a reasonable price and was told they'd send it off to be rebuilt and send me a new quote to approve to go ahead with the job. 5 days later I call offering to order the part for them after not hearing from them. They agreed and I told them I needed the tag on the PCM for the DPC number and I was told they'd send me a pic when they got to it. A day later I received a text saying that the PCM must have been replaced before because they could not find the tag. I had my vehicle towed home and when I removed the PCM I found the tag they're technicians couldn't find. My vehicle was also not put back together how it was sent to them. For 130 an hour I would not recommend.

Almost $100 for an oil change on an economy car is pretty hard to swallow. Took over an hour despite having an appointment and being rescheduled once already. Oil and filter light came on 3 days later and now we have to waste more time taking it back in. Wanted to go with someone local, but we will be returning to our mechanic in Round Rock. These guys are awesome! People with an older Ram 1500 are finding out that the new local dealer will not touch a vehicle over 10 years old. Ashton Automotive has the BEST Dodge guys in town (better than the dealer). My 2010 Ram 1500 is running like new! And their prices are fair (again.better than the dealer.)

Special on synthetic oil change brought me in for 1st time. Delayed time, over 2 hours for oil filter to arrive, I didn't have an appointment but still-. Did give thumbs up for explanation of potential problems with pictures to verify. Will try again.

A great shop! I was told by another shop that I needed a new headlight assembly which runs well over $1000. I was also told I needed a new oil pan. These guys checked out my Jeep and found out all i needed was a new bulb and the leak actually came from my radiator. Not only are they very friendly, professional, and provide a quick but excellent service, they are also a shop you can trust to be honest with you. They saved me a ton of money and I will definitely be back with any of my vehicle concerns! I highly recommend Ashton Automotive!

Took my car in to get some leaks fixed along with fixing my air conditioning and my back window was off the track and I love the way it came out. Dad brought his 2011 Buick Regal Turbo in for a water pump and timing chain replacement. We ordered the parts and scheduled an appointment.

Pros: they do the work correctly and for around the price they quote. Which is the most important thing.

Cons: poor communication. We kept getting the run around on when the car would be ready. They told us it was done and when we arrived they’d barely even started on it. After a few more phone calls and a couple times stopping by they’d always said “end of day” or “tomorrow around noon. ”

If they were understaffed or waiting on any additional parts we didn’t provide and the repair would take longer than expected, we’d be totally fine with that. We’re patient people and understand. The expectation they were setting for us led us to believe it would be completed sooner.

The car was broken into while at their shop and they replaced the glass out of their own pocket and are reimbursing us for the tint, which we really appreciated. Really shows their integrity.

My dad will be bringing his Buick back for future service, but now we’re more prepared for the longer than usual wait time on repairs. Luckily I have a spare car for him to use in the meantime.

Got a tune up on my mustang they even went ahead and did a step colder on the spark plugs so that is great car seems to be running smoother so I am happy going back to them to help me install a few other things I want that I don't have a lift to do myself
