ASI Gymnastics - Firewheel, Garland TX

We just had my daughter’s 9th bday party there and it was incredible. The staff was kind and helpful. The facilities were clean and safe.

I had previously wrote a review giving a 1 star but I am editing it now. The previous issue the gym has worked to correct it and my daughter really enjoys her time here. She is in the gymmie kids program and has a shadow named Holly who is really good with her. My daughter is on the spectrum and has a lot of energy so whoever takes over when Holly leaves will definitely have to match my daughter’s energy. Only thing I think is the shadows should all be trained across the board for when one person is absent the other who works in that person’s place have the same knowledge in how to direct the kid’s energy. But I’m willing to work with them because they have worked with us and showed they are definitely trying so I am happy with them and hope soon my daughter will get it enough to no longer need the shadow for her classes. My son just had his birthday party here. I purchased the ninja party package. I would 10/10 recommend this place for birthday parties. The party room has 2 extra long tables and shelves for personal belongings and to place food on top of. The three staff members were amazing. I literally didn't have to lift a finger. They guided guests to the room, They set up the party room with the decor and plates I brought, served the pizza and cupcakes I brought and took care of clean up. They were so helpful and it made my experience stress free. If your looking to do a party here I definitely recommend getting the extended time frame. The one hour went by so quick and I wish I purchased the extended time. It was great having the place to ourselves and the option for parents to drop their kid off for the party. Thank you!

Our kids love ASI classes. They get to have a lot of fun while they are getting real gymnastic training.
The coaches are great. Some have more experience and some don't but they are all nice. No complaints there.

The only thing I want to see some improvement is in the parking area. Many lazy selfish parents park their cars in front of the door and keep waiting for their kids to come out of the class while some people are already trying to leave the parking lot but they can't because their cars are blocked by those selfish folks. The problem is that all kids finish the class and come out at the same time, so the parking gets crazy every time after the class. Today, I saw 5 cars lined up blocking the whole entire parking lot in front of the door and two upset individuals were yelling at those selfish parents causing the congestion.
I don't like to see that. I think the ASI staff should tell the parents not to park at the curb or at least put up signs to tell them not to park their cars there.

Anyways, otherwise, this is a very nice gym and we like it a lot.

Why did the price for the second class increased so much? Now I wont be Able to take my child to a third class.

Nice location, very neat and clean. My son did a trial class there today and he loved it. All staff from the front desk are very friendly and professional.

It’s amazing my daughter has a great coach and amazing teammates this will be her gymnastic class for some years to come

Our grandson had a wonderful time here for his 5th birthday. The coaches were so good working with the children doing gymnastics and having fun for the first hour while the parents relaxed and chatted with the other parents. Then the coaches sent the kids to wash their hands and sat them around the party table and proceeded to serve them the pizza and cupcakes we bought. Everything was so fun and so professional. Our grandson has been coming here twice a week for tumbling classes for over a year and he loves it!

In the beginning, class sizes were low and everything was clean and enjoyable. Then they've raised prices every year and packed the kids into classes like sardines. I am editing my review now because they have more coaches and have lowered the class sizes back to 4 or 5. It's still crazy busy and noisy and a breeding ground for sickness but most places with kids are

My 3 year old grandson has been taking a class at the Firewheel ASI. His coach, Jaymes, is wonderful! He is so patient with all the kids, and he has a wonderful attitude. He is a gem!

Coach Declan is the best! The whole team at Firewheel ASI is friendly and caring.

Edited to add: If you're looking for an event place for kids, THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BOOK IT! Coaches Declan, Natalie, and Manny were the BEST at my daughter's birthday party, and Brittany (the manager) made sure we knew everything up front so the whole scheduling process and day of were seamless. Talk about setting the bar HIGH!

Coach Jaymes & Hailee are awesome! If you’re looking for a gymnastics class for your kid, ASI is the place to come to!

We are in the weekly Ninja class and also recently had our daughter's birthday party here. Beyond impressed with the level of professionalism shown by all employees and coaches. The birthday party package was inexpensive and seamless. I hardly had to do anything more than bring cake and decorations! Coach Declan and Gavin are an amazing asset to this location and we hope to enjoy many future birthdays here.

We LOVE coach Tanner! He’s soo hands on with the kids and has such a genuine care for the kids he’s coaching!

My sons have been attending ASI for almost four years, and have always had great coaches. Right now, coach Manny does a great job with all his students!

We love ASI Firewheel and all of the coaches there are amazing. Our son is always greeted by name even by those that he’s never even met him. My son has loved Coach Tanner, Hannah, Manning, and Anika all of them have worked with him in different classes. I would highly recommend ASI to any friend or family.

Thank you to the ASI Firewheel Staff for an awesome experience for my kiddo from gymnastics and tumbling classes, to the after school program, camp, parents night out, to birthday parties for the last 4 years. They are always cheerful, accommodating, and helpful. Special shout-out to Coaches Manny, Declan, and Gavin for helping with 3 family birthday parties in the last year. Also to Britney and Stephanie at the front desk for always being patient and answering my questions. You guys rock and it’s been great to see my kiddo grow up during his time at ASI.

We have loved being at ASI! The coaches are great, excellent with all ages, and having our daughter on team has really helped with her confidence and athleticism! Definitely recommend!

Mr. Lee is a friendly and relaxed coach at ASI. Also, the students are comfortable around him to learn and have fun simultaneously.
In addition, Ms Britany and miss Stephanie are always can give you a friendly, warm smiles even when they busy with dealing functions at the front desk.
Also, let’s not forget coach Tanner who always busy to help the young ones on the practice floor. But most of all, the parents enjoyed and appreciated coach Tanner for what he has done well for their kids.
