Took it there for a pretty big issue i thought they could get, motor mount and rear main seal. They refused to work saying that it was beyond what they did

OMG very happy with the service provided by this mechanic shop have used the shop three times from putting in a new engine to just basic repair. Have been happy each time I drive 40 minutes to bring my vehicles to this particular shop. Would recommend this mechanic shops to friends and family. They are always friendly fast accurate reasonably priced just can't say enough nice things. They go out of their way to diagnose and find the actual problem they don't just replace parts. Great repair shop.

I took a vehicle here for an check engine light and did not get the issue completely fixed. The reason they get 5 stars is because rather than ripping me off and continuing to “work” on the vehicle. The very nice gentleman/representative of the the shop told me that I should look for another shop or take it a dealership to get it fixed. He was also kind enough to discount the 1 service that was provided to fix one of the two issues.

This place is great and their mechanics/ staff will give you the entire rundown.

Family owned business with a great group of guys who know what they’re doing. I always feel taken care of when I bring my car in. They get the job done right the first time and at a fair price. I live in Arlington but will drive to Fort Worth just so Mr. Lee (and now his son John) can service my car for me. Thanks for all the good work!

Great service, they know how to work on vehicles and don’t charge for things that don’t need replacing. Been going to this place for 30 years and never dissatisfied!

I will never take any of my cars anywhere else. My father went to Lee for years and now his son runs it, and I take my car to his son when I need something major done. A great family owned and ran business with prices that can't be beat.

Took my 350z to get my clutch master cylinder replaced. I had a sticky clutch pedal and they got the job done sooner than expected. Now the pedal feels brand new. Really appreciate the honest opinions and work. Great auto shop.

Amazing customer service & exceptionally kind staff! They gave me in-depth details as to what was wrong/needed to be done/truth in outcome (which is rare in car service but I definitely appreciated their straight honesty!) anyway, my car was fixed & running smoothly again within the same day! (Also recommended my family to bring their cars in too and nothing but satisfaction from all!)

I will NEVER use Asian American Auto Repair again. For years I had nothing but problems from them but today marks the day I will let EVERYONE know exactly how unethical and unprofessional they really are. Le could care less about his customers and Jon is a deceiving liar. I work hard and take pride in my honest business and I don’t want others to be taken advantage of by them. Buyer beware beware beware! Please consumers do your homework on Asian American Auto Repair before you give them a dime of your hard earned money!

I am a used car dealer who purchased two cars from the auction that didn't start. I purchased an Acura RL and a Honda Accord that would not start. I decided to try this business because they advertised that they specialized in Imports. I was charged a diagnostic fee of $120 for each vehicle after they diagnosed that both vehicles had a key issue. It is also unlikely that both cars had the same issue from two different sales. I also knew this was not the case because I have the equipment to program the keys and computers for all Honda and Acura vehicles. I disagreed with the business but had to pay the fee to claim my vehicles. I towed both vehicles directly to the Honda and Acura dealerships. The dealerships both gave the accurate diagnosis for both cars. The Acura Rl didn't start due to a hydrolocked motor and was verified when the oil pan was emptied (water in the engine). The Honda Accord didn't start due to the timing belt being stretched (timing was also off.) and there was also timing belt shavings in the bottom of the area of the belt. I also still have the dealership documentation and pics. So, I paid this company for nothing. You can use them at your own risk. If you are a person who is not mechanically inclined I would not suggest using this business. If you aren't knowledgable it could cost you! I knew better. Please read the posts with 1 star ratings. Those reviews are consistent with my experience.

I’ve been helped twice by this shop and the first time I wasn’t even charged, but I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. Great service and affordable!

None of the BS that comes with most auto repair shops. John and Mr. Lee offer great customer service. They're knowledgeable about the work they do. Fair prices. And honest. I don't use any other shop!
