Aso Rock Restaurant & Lounge reviews
17Terrible place food taste nasty plus if you get a togo order better check your food as much as the food is nasty your orders won’t even be complete as per what you paid for never stepping my foot here again
Worse place to eat ordered food it took them an hour thirty minutes for grill fish and plantain. Worst customer service.
The worst African restaurant in Dallas, I have tried my best to patronize black owned restaurants but this one I definitely don’t want to go back there. I went there a couple of times and it just getting worse. On my last visit they actually served me sour and moldy rice, the smell was bad. And they charged me and my girl $75 for two plates, no alcohol. The foods are overpriced and they don’t know what they’re doing. I left the whole plate and I was seriously thinking about suing the establishment
Bad customer service, bad food. I wouldn’t suggest here even for Africans. I took jollof rice, beef and plantain. The rice was horrible but the meat was okay.
I wish I could share the picture of the nkwobi I drove all the way from grapevine with express so I don’t get stuck in traffic only to waste my money. Tasteless. The pepper soup was mostly liver. My husband asked me if it was worth the trip and $60. I ate the pepper soup and tied the nkwobi up and hide it in the fridge. Now I’m hungry
Suya is Tasteless I don’t know whether the person grilling isn’t tasting before serving paying $25 for a tasteless meat sucks
The food is OK a little salty. The only thing I didn’t like was how long it took for them to bring it out this place the kind of food they serve it’s already prepared. There’s no need to make us wait. You cannot just whip up a Nigerian stew. Also, there were only two of us me and my daughter and they put a gratuity on it 15% I would’ve probably tip more if they hadn’t included their own tip also, a gratuity in Texas is optional not mandated to pay even if the establishment put it on your bill last minute.
Workers need to be les rude, because it doesn't take 1hr and 30 minutes to make a plate of yam porridge
The food was delicious.i wasn’t raised on this type of cuisine but it effortlessly became my favorite comfort food.the vibe was good and i enjoyed myself.can’t wait to try the whole menu.
This was a chill laid back experience! I would definitely recommend this lounge to everyone the margaritas was great and I was told by staff that karaoke was taking place on Thursday
DO NOT GO HERE! I’m never going here again ever, and will never recommend this place to anyone again. The place was empty and it still over 1 hour to get my food ready. They paid more attention to people who ordered take out and left those in the lounge to starve. 0/5
First time trying African cuisine and I can say I was not disappointed. The food was amazing I got the pepper goat soup and it was very spicy. This spicy did not take away from the flavor. The Jallof rice was well prepared and the atmosphere and music really enhanced the whole dining experience. Will definitely go again.
Chinwe was a waiter and she took care of us during our first time visiting. The food was delicious I will be coming back. Thank you for the awesome time love the music love the environment thanks again
This place is so expensive for no reason whatsoever. Out of town, ordered two soups and fufu and $20 soya/suya, side of jollof best Believe me when I say I regret it. My bill was $76. The soya/suya I couldn't tell if it was boiled beef or liver. And then the size was extremely small. Literally size of my fist for $20, the seasoning was off, it was not worth it. I am familiar with resturant business first hand, your prices don't match the quality of your food. You are overcharging that soya/suya i mean boiled meat should have been max $10.
Good place to buy African food, good price, you will find many things you didn't expect.
The customer service at this restaurant is terrible. Will keep you waiting for nearly two hours and still get your order wrong. It’s happened on two trips to Dallas, and it now appears they’re not capable of improving.
