16Honestly, take your money elsewhere. I’ve been trying to inquire about dental aligners for over 6 months now and no one can give me a price on them. They said they’ll call to discuss pricing after my 3rd time requesting it, they never did. I finally get an appointment for them to take scans and pictures of my teeth to get the process going and it took way longer than expected to do in person. It’s been a month now with no word (not even on pricing). I call them and the pictures weren’t good enough to get the aligners made so they need to reschedule me again. Not to mention, 2 times I’ve shown up, the person that handles the aligners wasn’t there so that was a waste of my time when they could’ve just called me to tell me that. Do not recommend.
Thank you to the Dentist and the staff member that helped me on Thursday. My crown fell out and you two did a great job fixing it. They were friendly and quick. Thank you again!
The nurses are ok but front desk not great. Sometimes they are there and sometimes the doctors take too long. One time I came on time and I was waiting for an hour. They finally called me in but I was still waiting for them to get started. So overall it took over 2 hours just to check my teeth and x rays. Thinking of finding a better place.
I was in Texas from Minnesota and developed severe tooth, jaw and ear pain. I tried 2 other dental offices (both of which said they took same day emergency appointments) before calling Aspen Dental. The receptionist was extremely helpful and got me into see Dr. Leary the same day. Dr. Leary and her entire staff were so nice. She confirmed a tooth abscess, put me on antibiotics and set me up with an oral surgeon for tooth extraction, since the tooth was to severely cracked to save. I saw Dr. Nagella 2 days later. Him and his staff were also awesome. Explained everything, extracted the tooth and got me feeling good again. Great experience!
I had a great experience. I do not enjoy having dental work done, but Dr. Leary was awesome. She was kind and explained all my options. All the staff were wonderful

The only reason I scheduled an appointment with Aspen was because I needed emergency work done. I took time off of work to sit there for an hour. After which, I was told that the "new patient" visit doesn't include the emergency work that I needed. The female doctor told me that the emergency work was going to take an hour, that another patient's appointment ran long. It's not my fault that you took too long with someone else. Looks like a time management problem to me! If you can't manage your time properly then you should stay late to accommodate the patients YOU SCHEDULED! All you did was waste my time! I have no interest in being your patient. Especially when you show me on my very first visit that my time means nothing to you! But you sure did want to plan all this different dental work, being sure to line your pockets as you send me on my way with a messed up filling. Thanks Doc!
Love, love, love the staff here, 5 stars are not enoght for this amazing team! I can't find the words that express all the things Kelly and Francis have bent over backwards to help us with after another place messed up our paperwork. Charlotte and Dr Liu are so patient and don't mind you asking questions, they also treat you like a person and care about your well-being and comfort! I couldn't ask for a better experience! I even look forward to seeing them!
Being told “I’ve been trying to ahold of you all day and it’s been impossible” considering they called me 1 time, never left a voicemail. Tried to call right back no answer. Left a voicemail. They called again, i called back 3 times. Finally got hannah on the phone. Just to be told my appointment is being canceled & pushed back 2 weeks. Even though I have a broken tooth & made the initial appointment 2 2 weeks ago so it will be a month in total. Just like YOU have a job. So does the patients. I don’t sit by my phone waiting for my appointments to be rescheduled. Based on the reviews & what I’ve witnessed in clinic. Scheduling seems to be an issue in the new braunfels location. However the dental hygienist, she’s AMAZING & so gentle.
I have dental insurance had called about 1 week ago to set up appt. I was told by Chris that she would call me back because she would have to run my insurance info to see how much it would cover. Never got the call back and just today received the courtesy appt reminder call of which I was asked if I was using some Care I don’t remember the rest! I told the lady no mam I have Cigna and I never got the call back from Chris. She said she was going to check with Chris put me on the longest hold (while I’m at work) and never picked up. Finally I got a call back was told they had to resend my insurance info again and that my cost would be for tooth cleaning $650! I said what!? I’m not sure if they made a mistake but you’ve lost me as a client. Terrible customer service plus I was not even treated fairly
I was always happy with the service I received when going to this location, and the staff members were always very pleasant. The pandemic started, and obviously this made previous practices change, but it became more difficult to schedule an appointment over the past year even though things have resumed relative normalcy. I'm not sure what's happening at this location, but I was told it would be 2+ months to reschedule a simple routine appointment. Unfortunately for Aspen, I went ahead and scheduled with a different company in the area, and they scheduled me in less than 2 weeks.
This place cancels husband's appt via text message even tho he has a broken tooth! Won't do anything to help him with his pain! Just says sorry! & Now can't be seen until NEXT TUESDAY!
Hands down everyone. They really have a well oiled machine at this location. Very friendly service, super easy to work with. If your paying cash it's as easy as letting them know, then sit back and watch them work for you. All around.very happy!
Great service and doctor. Chris is very helpful & friendly. Emily is very knowledgeable & friendly. Dr. Chu is very knowledgeable, pleasant, polite & friendly.
I had to find a dentist yesterday for a severe toothache. Not only were they able to see me on very short notice, as a brand new patient, but they even stayed open late on their half day to perform the surgery I ended up needing. Dr. Altawaty, Mrs. Ramirez, and his entire staff are nothing less than rock stars in my opinion. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
So far I’ve had my initial appointment and 2 subsequent appointments rescheduled by staff - today, sitting here for over an hour waiting even though I arrived on time for appointment
