Was very impressed with the way my first appointement went. Very in depth Doctor/Patient explanations, treatment plan, etc. Highly recommend.

Good experience from when I walked in to walking out. The staff were very nice and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had a great experience at Aspen Dental. They spent good time explaining different options and also discussed cost effective solution. I felt they were really interested in what I want and didn’t try to push only services they provide. I truly had a great experience.

Update: I eventually had to contact corporate to get my refund, and the local office shorted me almost $60. Called corporate again, was told that the refund was on its way.

Months later, still no refund. I called corporate. It turned out thar the local branch had STILL not reversed the insurance, and my refund was hung up because of that. Almost a year of this mess and it still wasn't fixed. Unbelievable.

I did finally get the last of my refund.

Oh, and I went to a different dentist and they had a new denture made up for me with no issues at all.proving that I was not the problem. Aspen dental was.

****

Aspen Dental came highly recommended so it's disappointing that I, personally, can't recommend going to them.

My old dentures developed a crack. Setting up an appointment was very easy.

I went, had the impressions taken, and it was sent to a lab. When the wax mock up came, they shoved it in my mouth and kept pressing no matter how much I told them it hurt. It fit so badly that my very first question was, "Will the real denture fit better? " they assured me it would.

After sending it back to the lab for several adjustments and tweeks, the denture was made. It fit horribly. It would not stay in, hurt, and no amount of them adjusting made it work.

So we started over. They took scans of my current dentures. They took a new mold of my mouth (using the failed denture as a base, which I think was a mistake). I was told the new wax model would be in the next week sometime. It took over two weeks.

When it came, it was clear that it was even worse than the first set. It was a great looking denture but it didn't fit. At all. I was done.

I was told that I'd be issued a refund but their systems were down. That was a Friday. I was told that I'd be given a call Monday to take care of it. They didn't call. I called Tuesday and was given a run around.

I mentioned that it was critical that they clear the bill with the insurance because insurance will only cover new dentures every five years. If they don't clear it, I can't get new dentures for that period unless I pay full price.

When the office manager finally came to the phone, she mocked me and literally laughed at me about it.

I was then told that the refund would come in 3-5 business days and that insurance would be cleared within 30 days.

It's now been two weeks and ten business days. The refund hasn't come so I'm guessing they also haven't sent notification to my insurance.

They "systems" are down again. Supposedly for the whole week, which means they STILL can't issue me the refund or clear the insurance. In the meantime I'm stuck with cracked dentures and I've been dealing with this nightmare for two months.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Aspen Dental, and I feel compelled to share my feedback. It's important for potential patients to be aware of their experiences and make informed decisions when choosing a dental provider. Run, don't walk.

First and foremost, I cannot recommend Aspen Dental due to their lack of transparent billing. As a patient, I believe it is crucial to have a clear understanding of the costs associated with dental treatments. Unfortunately, Aspen Dental fell short in this regard. The billing process was confusing and left me feeling unsure about the final costs of my treatment. I believe transparency is vital in any healthcare service, and it was sorely lacking here.

Moreover, the front staff at Aspen Dental were less than welcoming. They often came across as snappy and condescending. This can create a hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere for patients who are already anxious about visiting the dentist. A warm and respectful front desk staff is essential for any healthcare facility, and Aspen Dental failed to meet this standard.

Another significant issue I encountered was the difficulty in scheduling an appointment. It felt like a constant struggle to secure a time slot that worked for me. A dental practice should be accommodating and considerate of its patients' schedules. Unfortunately, my experience with Aspen Dental in this regard was frustrating and disappointing.

To make matters worse, I found the entire team to be dismissive and unprofessional. My concerns and questions were often brushed aside, and it seemed like they were more interested in rushing through appointments than in providing quality care. This dismissive attitude only added to my frustration and discomfort during my visits.

In summary, my experience with Aspen Dental left much to be desired. I strongly advise potential patients to carefully consider their options before choosing this dental provider. Transparent billing, a courteous and welcoming front desk staff, easy appointment scheduling, and professional, attentive care are all essential elements of a positive dental experience, and Aspen Dental fell short in each of these areas during my time with them.

Everyone was very friendly and provided a comfortable environment. My husband and I were able to make appointments within a day and they worked with our insurance ahead of services.
The Hygienist, Su-jin, was great and Dr. Autumn Castillo provided evaluation and practical approach care (no upselling like some dentists).
