I signed up for the 1 gig fiber which includes the HBO max subscription. I have yet to be able to login and sign up. There is no email for Astound and I was on the phone with Astound for over an hour. No help and no resolution of the problem. I will be cancelling my service 3 days after I signed up

When I switched credit cards for auto-pay it was my mistake not to change the Astound account to my new credit card number number. The company called me, had a pleasant conversation just days before Christmas to fix the problem and since it was one week from the next billing cylce, the Astound person said, no problem it will pay both bills automatically at the same time. In January i received a call from Astound to say that if a bill is overdue, no auto-pay take place. I immediately had them pay the two bills for November and December and made sure that the next cycle would be back on auto.
TODAY i received their next bill showing payment done manually for the two month i mentioned above AND a $750 late fee charge! I find this so unbusinesslike that i cannot begin to comprehend that kind of a "STEAL"!
Is there a Texas law that says they can just charge $750 for a late payment that has been paid?

I’m trying to re connect my services since this is the ONLY company my apartments take and i can’t get ahold of a live agent! There’s no other number provided or anyone else for assistance. So frustrating and annoying! Do better!

I’m a new customer, I’ve only had service with them for a month and have been charged over $200 for WIFI! They have provided no help on the phone but have hit me with the instillation, tech, and activation fee twice even though I’ve already paid it. They also restricted my payment method and said I never paid my bill when the money was taken out of my account, and reflected a $0 balance on their end. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT use this company. Use anyone else but them for internet they will steal your money

Everyone I have spoke to at Astound Broadband/Grande has been courteous. That's a nice change in this day and age. I was able to finally get my issue resolved via communication with chat technician. Chat was fabulous

Install great.speed as expected until next day. Speed never again reached what was paid for.
No live support. Only recordings and reset modem only thing offered!

I typically do not write reviews but for this company, I will! First off, my apartment did not give us a choice but to use this company. Grande Communications came and installed the internet and I have the plan for the HBO Max. I never received any information about how to login to HBO Max. Called multiple point of contacts for roughly 2 weeks before I got the information to login. Next and biggest issue, I was expecting my bill to come within a month of installation but didn't (did receive an email stating I was late on payment). When I did receive my first bill, I already had a late on my account and at that point I happened to be two months behind. I called customer service and paid for everything (including all the late fees). The next bill I received, I am two months behind again! I called customer service again to get clarification. The representative was talking super fast and I felt as if my questions/concerns were bothering her. Again, paid for everything including late fees and still don't understand my billing cycle. My advice for anyone using this service, stay on top of your billing cycle to make sure you do not fall into the late fee trap. Best wishes to all including Astound Broadband but I would not recommend this internet provider to anyone.

Worst internet service I have ever had. We selected the 1GB speed, and barely even reached 100MB. Even after troubleshooting and getting a technician out to solve the problem. We only had one device connected and we were right next to the router. We became very frustrated and tired of not getting the speed we were paying for. We changed services, and couldn’t be happier. Save your money, and don’t choose Grande.

Embarrassing, predatory internet service. While trying to get internet set up, the woman I talked to not only aggressively tried to upsell me their most expensive internet plan after I clearly and repeatedly expressed I only wanted the 300 mbps plan, but acted condescendingly and laughed at me when I asked for explanation as to why the $25.99 a month plan would cost $55 a month after fees.

Furthermore, I had to explicitly bring up the benefits/discounts clearly listed on Astound’s pricing page in order to get them applied to my account; the woman helping me tried to first sell me my plan without them. I’ve never had such a bad experience with a service provider of any kind, and wouldn’t be using Astound if my apartment complex didn’t require me to. Stay away from this company.

Overpriced, lates fees are Ridiculous 40$ after a day late. Slow service as well. I never dealt with a internet company like this seems like there over charging ppl depending.what area you live in you can only use there internet services no other internet provider is available in my area. So it seems like they take advantage of that,

Overprice the Public for there services. Wow I’ll have to figure out something else.

I want the old Grande back! Internet out for 3 1/2 hours! 47 minute wait time on the phone. Price went up. Family has been with them 14 years. Thinking about going to?

Guaranteed to get booted of the internet once a day. Price keeps going up for poor service. It's a shame it's these guys are only what my apartment offers

Crazy out of date protocol for a name change. After 10 years and $300 a month, I have to mail sensitive info instead of showing my DL with legal name! People in the office are very unhelpful.

The customer service is Trash! After they take your money they won't help you and even if they want to help the customer service and the tech support are full of incompetent people who keep doing mistakes over and over

They have horrible customer service. I have the acp program and they are not Appling it correctly. I have spoken to a supervisor named Gary and after I told him the issue he placed me on hold without even asking me. He came to the line and said he applied my 30 credit but that I would have to call again to get that adjusted. I told him I was not going to be calling every month to have that applied. I then asked if I can have a corporate phone to file a complaint and was told he didn't have one place me on then hung up. I called back spoke to Ryan I told him the same information and he said he had no supervision available. I asked again for corporate phone numbers and told he didn't have one. Called back and spoke to Kim placed me on hold came back and said no supervision again. IM DONE WITH THEM I have a ticket number no one has even bothered to call me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL

Worse company ever… there are always outages and no desire to credit for the days we are out of service.customer service is rude and never willing to help. Expensive for the service that is provided
